- On today's show we discuss why South Carolina's biggest opponent in 2024 isn't a team or player...but rather its own history that they're up against.
Segment 1
We dive into the numbers of past seasons and show what Gamecock fans should expect this season from a 1st year starting QB, an unproven WR unit, AND how historically bad year 4s have been for Gamecock coaches throughout history. AND we tell you why the bar for success isn't nearly as high as some people think which bodes well for this season.
Segment 2
We break down the numbers of other 1st year starting QBs in the last 10-15 years and what kind of production we can expect and hope for from LaNorris Sellers. Then we recap a very eventful weekend in recruiting for both football and baseball.
Segment 3
Finally the show closes with a look at Bleacher Report's Top 30 CFB Players of all-time, and why almost all of it was egregiously wrong as well as hear from y'all about who your CFB G.O.A.T.s are.

I'm so sick of hearing about the bar for success. The man overachieved through the first 2 years with big wins over Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, Texas a&m, and Clemson. They played a damn good game against Notre Dame with 12 big time playmakers opting out. Not to mention all the games that we could have won aside from injuries. He has one down year last year with about 21 or so various injuries happening. If USC doesn't give this man at least 6 or 7 years to compete and build a team, they're the ones with the problems.
South Carolina isn’t winning 4 games this year
During the season if something with the team isn’t right then call it out & if it’s a team horrible thing then don’t pull punches. All myself ask
The one team I don’t want to lose to is Missouri because I’m tired of losing to that yes lower football program than us. We should not be losing to them with our facilities & home environment
The only program that’s lower than y’all is Vandy. USC is dead in the water with Beamer and Tanner

I think ppl forget about ace sanders he was a 5’8 190lb beast with crazy feet and we just added two small but explosive wrs in the portal tht if Loggins can use them like ace was used I think our receivers are gunna benefit sellers tremendously
Connor was a good college qb but Sellers has all the tools and size to be a nfl draft pick if he can continue with the success he has had up to now.

Hello Chris. I enjoy the show and your content so far. Keep it up! Constructive criticism....please do something to improve your sound quality. The mix is weak and sounds thin. The guy who was your day 1 guest had really rich sound quality. I constantly had to turn you up and turn him down. See what he is doing. Again, keep up the good work.

Enjoyed listening but yeah it sounds bad. Room could benefit from some light sound treatment. The room has a ton of bad ambience and sounds rough. Try moving the mic closer to your voice for more low end. What kind of mic is this if you don’t mind me asking?

We need to win WAY more than 6 games this year. six wins is setting the bar too low٫ this team is not a six win team. there’s no reason why we should not win at least all of our home games٫ and most of our away games. This is what I've been talking about٫ this fanbase has to stop being afraid to think positively about this football team٫ Beamer needs to not only win this season but to prove a point. when I realistically look at this football team, I easily see us going 9-3 or 8-4 depends on if everything goes right which I have faith that it will. maybe 10-2 if not only have things go according to plan but also excel at it as well.
