Sir! I got a seat in NIT Delhi and uploaded the required documents. During document verification, they raised a discrepancy stating that "there is a mismatch in my father and mother name and asked me to attach affidavit". Can you please tell me how should i do this entire process?
@@nikhilakkireddi250 I explained in video clearly, u have to consult nearby lawyer and get signed on filled affidavit. Still what's ur doubt in that?
@@Civil_cafe sir! In all of my certificates, my father and mother name is A.Demudu and A.Padma. But, in GATE Application form it is DEMUDU AKKIREDDI and PADMA AKKIREDDI. I don't know how to write my parents name format whether it is first name last name or last name first name (Last name : Surname, First name ; Name).
And is One affidavit enough to mention both their names?

This is already uploaded by my friend and it got accepted. What do you mean by affidavit other than notary paper?
As per my knowledge if you write content and taking signature of lawyer then it will be affidavit, empty paper is notary paper.
I clearly asked NIT Rourkela is notary stamp allowed but she said no take the stamp of majistrate.
@@dhruv8862 Sometime college requires special requirements, depends on verifying officers. They are demanding such requirements, so you have to obey them.

I've similar issue but they didn't raised a concern on this and i can see status as 'documents verified and seat confirmed'.

No problem, if discrepancy arised then u have to do the required things.

Sir in my university i have gone through the process of name correction in my certificates and marksheets. They provided me marksheet and degree with correct name. BUT in migration certificate they did not provide new certificate instead they mentioned in old certificate with CORRECTION ATTESTED SEAL. Should I also bring affidavit during Physical reporting time?
Mostly not required. It any problem arises during physical reporting, it will be a headache. Better keep a copy of affidavit while u r going to college.
