Even with laptops, its just kinda annoying just how much attention is given to random numbers from benchmarks. Cant really blame reviewers too much there but it doesn't tell the story of the device.

No hate to NOTHING as a brand,
But I thought they would bring some change in this industry.
But they are also same as other company trying to fool consumer(following cheap marketing tricks)
If the phone is good/unique in the segment,it will sell for sure,but not by these tricks

If CMF brings back removable back panel and user replaceable battery, That would be game changing enough. If That screwdriver and scroll wheel thing just turns out to be gimmick without use I will be bummed. Like using pinky to scroll instagram reels or webpages at least apart from volume.

3:58 What you din't understand is A715 vs A78 architecture. Performance comes from 2 generations newer architecture with improved computation. Its not about just clock speed and number of cores.
7300 is a weaker older A78 architecture.

Performance wise A715 is 5% better than A78 and energy efficiency wise 20% better, but Dimensity 7300 has 4 A78 cores while 7200 has only two A715 cores, so performance wise 7300 is ahead but not in energy efficiency in big cores.
@@balkrushnakadam7082Dimensity 7200 has twice the number of GPU cores compared to 7300 although of an older generation. Which accounts for 25% performance difference.
Mediatek should've included 1 more GPU core to increase the performance. Plus, the CPU cores should've been newer that would've made it a direct successor instead of a side trade.

eg- I had once bought a Motorola g52 as a secondary phone in January 2023 , but it was launched in April 2022 , but majority of the early ( latest ) manufactured units had green and pink line issues , sometimes one speaker not working issues , fingerprint sensor issues , but the units manufactured in December 2022 didn't have any green line issues or other such issues . It is still running nice even after updates 👍 while many people who bought it early got such problems .

It's not a processor, it is a chipset which has CPU, GPU, ISP and all. CPU is a processor.
Mere ghar mein 4 alag alag model ke Motorola G series ke phones hain. Aur maine ye notice kiya hai OTT apps aur youtube mein bahut jyada bugs hai. Har waqt koi na koi bugs problem karta hai. Motorola needs to optimise its bugs and softwares.

I don't get it. 4x A78 cores at 2.5GHz vs 2x A710 cores at 2.8GHz.
And those Big cores are only going to be used by Games and High Load apps that require more performance across cores.
The only downside I see is the GPU in 7300 is a cut-down by 2 cores.

I believe design, cameras, OS and battery are very important factors as well. CMF did a great job in all the aspects and obviously they need to cut down on some factors to make it cheap and affordable by the masses. Let's think more than a processor and tbh, I've used A17 chip and using 8 gen 2 at the moment and other processers as well and i can't see much difference. I don't mind my Instagram to open 0000.01 milliseconds late than buying some smartphone with a crappy design and bad cameras. That's my personal take. Just don't buy smartphones with a laggy processor and i have ever used a dimensity processor, but i believe it's fine.
