I’ve actually never seen that version of the trailer! I was cheering on Grandpa Phoenix the whole while! Also I am 31 years old as of yesterday, and the trailer, with its devastation levels at Carteneau, and just how many people died on both sides, and during Bahamut’s megaflare, it still makes me a little weepy.
Yeah, this is a powerful end. He teleported all away who were left behind, remaining behind alone. Then took the elder primal on alone and sacrificed himself, but managed to stop the beast. And worst of all, no-one knew about it because everyone's memory was wiped. Side stories add a lot to the main game lore in FF14, thus it is always a good idea to do those miniseries.
This added portion was originally only meant to be seen by players who have done the coils of bahamut. In fact, this is actually the only FMV in the game other than the intro/opening movies. Also, it isn't because he is skilled. Please do coils.

Coils adds so much lore to 1.0 ending/2.0 trailer. Devs should adjust its difficulty so more people can enjoy it.
