I always love when you do little things that complement what spell or weapon you use in videos like at 1:00 in when you use ambush shard on the assassin always makes me laugh

I felt like they didnt add enough spells for each supposed school, like deathblight, sleep, blood, water, thorn, icelightning, magma and necromancy are super lackluster magic groups that suck despite great lore

Yup, and what's interesting is that most of the lackluster (in number of spells) schools are in the sorcery category. Incantation schools are much more robust and complete, except for Blood and Rot incantations (and maybe Frenzy as well, though they're already very powerful in a lot of circumstances).

I think they're all good, just if you're looking for the classic do damage while far away they're not too good. But stuff like Rain of Stars is really good on big bosses. Roiling Magma is good area denials or luring into it. And Rancorcall is just good chase, stagger, and just annoyance to force dodging from npcs that can or pvp.

It sucks that founding rain is such a bad sorcery, even though it'd look cool to use.

i didnt know thats how Ambush Shard worked. every spell kind of works as intended when just using it with no target. i didnt know that one SPECIFICALLY appears behind the target. i thought its only purpose was as a quick close range spell. thats gotta be more useful in more situations.
