  • In this oil painting tutorial I’ll show you how to paint a seascape. I'm painting on a much smaller surface (7 x 7 inches) than usual in this video but keeping my photorealistic oil painting style.
I’m a professional landscape artist with over 20 years of experience in oil painting. My RUclips Channel is dedicated to helping people learn how to paint in oils. I really believe that everyone can learn how to paint!

A fabulous job. I've learned more in the past couple of months since discovering this channel than I've learned in the past 30 years.
I'm currently painting the house my wife grew up in as a present to her. I'd love to see you paint a building of some sort. I know it would help me to see how you would tackle it. Your landscapes that do include structures are just amazing.
Thank you again for sharing your talent and technique. It is very appreciated.

It amazing how quickly it comes together, one second it’s blocks of colour and the next you have perspective and realism that is mind glowingly accurate. Magic.

Was fascinating to see you follow the same processes and techniques on this project. Really shows that you break down the image in the same way and follow the same process as you do with your landscape. Really exciting to see. Can't wait for next episode. Thank you from New Zealand.

You do amazing and the most beautiful work. Your eye for details just blows me away. I live in Florida in the United States, on the beach and I think you nailed it with the waves. I just can't say enough about this painting just gorgeous and I can't wait to watch the second half of this video. I love how you show it close up so we can see your gorgeous work. I do agree with one of your other viewer you have us spoiled seeing your palette of paints when mixing... lol
Thank you so much for painting the beach I've been waiting on this one. Till next week god bless you for you sharing your talent with us.

Wow Ive been watching you paint at all diff times back when i was oil painting a lot ... on 11/11/18 I suffered a massive heart attack and stopped oil painting thinking maybe using some of the chemicals weren't good for me etc.. so i went to water color but the last 6 months started getting bored and still wanting to learn how to do the wave ...well today i was watching you and took out my oils and thrilled that i have come this far in just like 30 mins to do this i cant wait to see how it comes out but im so happy today with using them oil paints are forgiving and you can fix your mistakes a lot faster which is great but just the fact that i have a lot done is amazing and i love the way you teach thanks so much for posting this your the best!
