This is absolutely awesome! Heart touching performance. Birdy, you are really an artist! A beautiful voice and able to sing this emotional song while playing the piano.
One of the things about Birdy and a lot of artists in her genre and a just people with strong voices is when they just sit at a piano and play for some reason it is even better than the music video even when the music video is top notch because nothing compares to watching then get lost in the music and just hearing it all in their voices and the acoustics. She is just amazing. I could watch for days.
The simple and genuinely personal nature of these lyrics combined with Birdy's crystal clear delivery reinvigorates my luv for piano based solo music. The other artists I would put on the same level as Birdy is Nora Jones & Alicia Keys. Beautiful, elegant & soul touching, her music is a reflection of the girl. I have seen her twice in person, I hope to see many more times live.
She has had records at or near the top of charts all over the world . Moreover, she is not "criminally underrated" the critics like her. She is in my opinion on the cusp of going "mega" give her time she is still barely mid 20's.
