The waves in the center of the dial complimented with the blue in the chapter ring make this watch very unique. Drilled lugs and a proven, regulated movement are appreciated. This watch could benefit from female end links and better lume. The weight would be an issue for me but I could wear it on a quality FKM rubber strap. Overall it's a very good offering and highly serviceable with Canadian roots. They should consider a titanium version!

Titanium is a great suggestion for a future release, it didn't even cross my mind during review 😅 glad you like it overall though, some of the lesser talked about microbrands are making some really genuinely interesting watches like this one ... cheers for the comments as always 😎🍻

One of the best watch reviews I have seen, precise thorough and to the point. thank you for introducing the Whitby Admare a great looking understated all round watch with a tried and tested Swiss Movement, a watch I am now considering adding to my collection!

My pleasure - thank you for watching and the kind words. It's always nice to discover watches like this that fly under the radar but are actually pretty cool and offer something unique. Have a good weekend 🙂🍻

Its a nice looking watch tastefully done , a tad large for me personally but i like its overall design , price i expected but their lume game could be better . Well done for giving them a tap.

Some neat design choices make for a very crisp, clean and tidy design. It looks as if the bracelet was adjusted with pins (or even worse, pins and collars) - for this price, I’d expect screws. I also agree on the tool-less micro adjust - I suspect that we’re going to see more and more watches with these as differentiating features in what’s getting to be a very crowded market. That, and quick-release bracelets :)

Yeah I'm on the fence with screws and pins, I always feel I need to loctite every screw on a bracelet to have faith in it, whereas with pins I've never had one come out or loose. I think this is why I don't tend to critique pins on bracelets vs. screws. That said I despise collars 😂...this one is pin only, I think most people prefer screws though so fair point. Cheers for the comments and watching appreciated as always 😎🍻

seems like an more expensive deep blue diver.

In what way? I haven't tried one so can't say, not seeing it visually though... and certainly not themed with the specific design details or assembled in Canada?
