- Lawmakers are considering a bill that would ban the Clear, and other express-lane programs that allow travelers to pay extra to skip to the front of security lines at dozens of airports nationwide, in California. Emma Goss reports.

@@davefobroy We do have external security. 169 terrorists were arrested there last year, 27k lbs of fentanyl was seized, and 35k criminals were arrested.
Why would you say that? It is not the truth. Last year, border patrol caught 2.4 million at the border.

They should make a line that has a faster line for those that travel 10+ times a year. These folks screen quicker because many of them they know what they're doing at security.
That's a better idea than monetizing security screenings being slow.

I can go to a communist country and bribe my way out of tickets/being arrested, bribe my way into high paying government jobs, and just use money to get special treatment in so many less than legal ways...

I can get out of tickets, avoid being arrested, get high paying government jobs, skip lines, etc. All it takes is some money.
