I like the concept of Aftermarket/Conversion weapons. Puts a new spin on familiar weapons, usually beyond a simple fire mode change. Something similar was done in Killing Floor 2 with the HRG Weapons, which use pre-existing weapon models, tweaked with alternate properties to fit different class roles.
The proof-of-concept is okay actually, it's just that the 3D printed aspect doesn't make it great unfortunately, and only the JAK Headhunter, Thumper, Cataclysm (thanks to The AK Guy) and Patriot are realistic to a degree. Puts the gunsmith in gunsmith.

Regarding the Signal Burst, with how the MW Reboot Trilogy has been doing quite a bit of fictional stuff, they might as well include those cancelled weapon systems like the XM8 and Pancor Jackhammer. The reload animation fans would *DROOL* over seeing them get the MW Reboot reload animation treatment.

The stat page indicates that the conversion kit makes it 3500 shots per minutes, which is obviously false. All the recoil is normal except vertical recoil, as mentioned before. Even though the fire rate is peetty good with the aftermarket part for the rival 9, i wish they kept it as full out even with the aftermarket part as opposed to it being converted to burst fire. I say that because it would be closer to the main rifle from wolfenstein the new order (a game i really enjoyed back in the day and sometimes like to try to create cod loadouts based on). I think in wolfenstein it was simply called the "ar1960" and was a replacement for the stg44 in missions after the deaths head compound ww2 type mission. The ar1960 (or whatever it was called) had very similar iron sights to the rival 9 too, but i guess the ammunition is probably smaller for it compared to the wolfenstein ar as well as the mag is smaller on the rival 9 as of such.
remember when the Renetti was a semi automatic pistol to begin with? Remember how when you put on the 3rnd burst barrel for the Renetti it didnt replace everything with a 3D printed frame? WELL THATS CAUSE THE FUTURE IS NOW !!!!!

Still though, regarding my other comment, i wish it was still full auto with the aftermarket part and maybe it'd have been cool if it was also made to have a higher caliber ammunition and larger mag or something as to make it more like the rifle i talked about from wolfenstein the new order (even though that wouldnt have been the intention of course on the developers side).
A 3D printed template actually exists for the Scorpion Evo S1 Carbine, which the Headhunter is based on, which makes this a little more realistic. The template however does not include burst fire.

@@simonredforce It's to make sure the slide is fully in battery (all the way forward in the "ready to fire" position), since firing a weapon when it's out of battery tends to end pretty badly for whoever's holding it. It's not strictly a "problem" with Glocks that they get slide-bumped like that (or rather, not a result of crude design), it's simply that Glock pistols are striker-fired rather than hammer-fired, so bumping is kind of the only way to make sure the weapon is fully cocked. Doing it to the Beretta isn't strictly _wrong,_ it's just kind of useless. (Also just FYI, the thing being bumped is the "slide." "Carriage" in firearm terminology is effectively a synonym for turret in most contexts.)
The next conversion kit will be automatic Kar98k, just like Avtomat from Hunt showdown.
