@Caleb thank you for this great donation to this channel. You have an amazing collection and you can rest assured that your figurines are now immortalized on RUclips for you to see them whenever you want.
Hey Caleb, you really showed love!, amazing gesture
I wish I never would bought those firecrackers that day
Man i LOVE your channel!!! GiJoe was one of my ALLtime personal favorites.i cant even count how many “custom” joe figures i made back in the day.we never had a screwdriver that was the right size and wouldnt strip that tinyass screw so i finally found a small pair of scissors inmy moms make-up bin and if opened them and used one of the blades it fit that screw PERFECT!!! One of my favorite things to do was take a joe head, put it on a customized cobra body and BIZZANG!! You had yourself an evil twin or a joe gone bad or a genetically engineered clone. If u had xtra BAT bodies or parts you could use them with a joe head and make my favorite!...evil android replacement joe. Anyway, just wantd to thank u for making this channel.in these strange and uncertain times we live in its like jumping in a time machine and goin back to the BEST times of my life! I recently started collecting again, Transformers, which is probly my #1 ALLtime fav,and even have gotten my 16yr old who just scored his 1st paying job into collecting HIS favorite starwars and marvel characters. Man i only wish these kids could LIVE and experience the times and exitement of growing up in the 80’s. They’ll never know how good we had it
What an amazing gift! Got to get me Alpine and Dusty! Great video Michael, thanks for filling out hearts once again with wonderful nostalgia😊
My first action figure collection was STAR WARS in 1978. My second most favorite toy line was GI JOE. There has never been another toy line that had so much play potential. JOES could go anywhere and do everything!!!
Yes used to play all day in a flower bed with mine and deep rain water holes.
@@willischalepah9488 ME TOO! Cherished the days when we had snow...Me and my friends battled frostbite to have JOE adventures in the snow.
This is an awesome box of loose figures and parts. I loved either repairing or making some custom figures using spare parts. In some cases, you have fun build -a- figure projects at hand.
Thanks Droz! It was a lot of fun fixing them all, and a lot easier now than it used to be. :D
It's good to know that these Joe's will have a good home!!
Enjoyed this very much Jons toy vault and pop culture show and tell.
The blue and yellow cobra is the Cobra Eel version 2, and the one with the mini missile connections is the H.E.A.T. VIPER
I just had to comment again, this time specifically on the end montage. It really shows how much appreciation there is on your part Michael. Awesome job setting everything up for it.
Shipwreck relaxing while the rest were standing was a nice touch.
Yup, gave me a cartoon flashback haha
Yellow/purple Dude -
Heat Viper, has a big bazooka, a thing that looks like a leaf blower for a backpack, and grey mortar shells around his ankles.
Had a big smile on my face when you took the time to fix Storm Shadow right away. My favorite most sought after toy of all time.
It is the ninja way! :D
Same
Did you find him?
Michael I believe that crossbow goes to night creeper 1990
I enjoy watching your videos..brings out the kid in me..those times when I have those GI Joe toys..nice job
Thanks! 🙏
so many memories !
loving the visionaries
Hey dude could you do a detailed video on fixing these guys up, the best places to get parts o- rings, stands and custom extras like bunks, lockers, thanks
Wow! its really nice to see a vintage joe's. The cross bow at 19:50 is a main weapon of night creeper. He is one of my favorite cobra enemy figure when I was young.
Wow, what an amazing gift!! When Storm Shadow popped out I was wow. And than Firefly's gun... WOW!! Cool video
Another great video. Love the end montage, especially Shipwreck being himself.
Always have fun watching your videos. You seem to be excited by the toy itself instead of the value of the toy
Backstop came with the Persuader.
Eels V2. Later became Perch Bluegill. Basically Penny Hardaway but still 6’11. Later played baseball in the EBL as a SS/2b for the Colortown Parrots.
Michael,
Truly an epic gift box! Wow! Congratulations good brother!👍
About 15 years ago I had a good friend invite me over to give me his childhood Joes! Just like your box dozens of Joes some complete and almost all had their o-rings damaged. Inside the giant box in pieces was one vehicle! Not complete but still a lot of it there! It was just too big to keep! I almost give it away! Yep, you guessed it folks.....it was the USS Flag!!!😥😥😥
That is a awesome unboxing of G.I. Joe action figures and accessories. You have the most awesome toys Michael Mercy.
Call me crazy I'm 13 years old and I collect vintage Joes, I have 2 vintage vehicles and about 40 vintage Joes with basically no weapons so I have made some of my own replacement weapons. I try to give someone else's childhood a new life by collecting/playing with them but your right vintage Joes cost a lot of money anyways your an awesome content creator and I love you videos!
I love ur channel brother, I hope the new year brings u & ur lady blessings, fortune, & great health (+ large hauls of 80’s memorabilia) *Stay Up* #Nerdmaste 💯💪🏽💪🏽💥💥
that Zap Bazooka is the rare double handled bazooka.
Cool box. I was buying boxes like that in the mid-90's for like $5.00-$10.00. Flea markets were also selling sealed over-stock figures for like $.50. I lived through the baseball card craze of the 80's and for some reason I stayed away and I saw a future in the toys I played with as a kid and made some wise investments.
Man you have an awesome collection 👍👍👍
The bazooka at 31:00 is the rare zap 2 handled bazooka variant ... unfortunately it's broken
What a great contribution to your channel. Congrats and thanks for sharing with us.
YO JOE!!!!!
Passionate about joes, appreciate it.....hope to see more videos on modern joes.....love your work
A very cool video you have taken me back to my child hood and I thank you for that and keep the videos coming
The helipack belongs to the orange and purple 'Annihilators'
Awesome
Green gas tank on 39:26 should be from HAMMER 1990 edition :)
Great box of joes it’s the gift that keeps on giving!!
black hook sword goes with red and black ninja had one when i was a kid
✨Oh🎅‼️SPECIAL DREAMBOX‼️✨
When I was a kid Monkeywrench was the least common original Dreadnok. It was very hard to find him. I dig out Joe stuff to play with my youngest daughter every few months or so and it is like a miniature Christmas time, finding stuff you forgot you owned. Loved the detail in the military based equipment of the early year Joes.
Looks like you might be investing in some more rubber o-rings and performing the necessary surgery to get these solider's back on the battle field. That's was cool! Kind of a fun GI Joe puzzle. Haha. Thanks Caleb and Michael. That was fun.
Wow! That is a real treasure chest!
Very funny to see your child's face while checking each item!
I would like to have friends like that!
Greetings from Chile!
I love your channel
I'm super late in collecting.. super late on the video.. I want to strictly collect the years I had in particular. 1985-1992. Ages 5-12.. yup I was still playing with Joe's at 12.
I Know it's going to be expensive (even though I'll be happy with all loose figures).
I remember in the early 2000s was THEE time to start collecting. There were rubbermaid bins of figures back then. 5 for 10$.. I was going to start then. However I was saving for a car then.
Great great video..
nice stuff .that snow cobra is snow serpent v2 . they should have a snowboard . the gas tank is from the Hammer. grey hummer , I think that neon cannon is the one also from the badger , translucent balls go to the silver catapult and are from the Cobra incinerator , the tan legs with the broken T bar are from the Demon driver Ferret. he had the standard black and red color on top and tan legs, chainsaw gun is from Cesspool , silver bombs look like from the mudfighter
Downtown. Later Doug Townsend. Basically Mark Price.
I just wish I cared more about my toys when I was a kid. Lost everything at some point. I had so so many of the toys you show.
You can still find good deals on ebay sometimes because people list joes with no o-ring as broken or damaged easy fix.
True! An easy repair can knock a lot off the price.
Hi Michael. Back-Stop was the driver of the Persuader. I hope you and Luana have a safe, happy, and prosperous 2020. With any luck I'll find a Shipwreck of my own; one of the few '85-'87 Joes I haven't acquired yet.
awesome gift!
Good evening Michael. Just wanted you to kno. The red ninja is named Slice. He was usually partnered w another called Dice, which is a purple ninja in the Ninja Force line.
Yojoe.com is also a good place to help with joes. Heat viper is who that hose belongs too in case you didn't know yet
In the beginning of the video Storm Shadows top half is on top of the pile. I saw it right away!
That alpine is near mint.
Zandar was awesome. My kids were playing with mine out in the sun recently. Still changes colour. I also have him still in the box after getting a double up. Forgot all about it. Remember now after getting two Battle Cats one Christmas my mother said I should of kept one boxed in case one broke.
Great unboxing!!
Snow Serpent V2. Had to google it.
Wow your so lucky thats awesome :)
For years I had the Leonard Michaels show. Scoop was a great sports personality.
For my EBL vs MLB league I took the V1 of Storm Shadow and Firefly and version 1 and 2 of Snake eyes and turned them into White Lightening aka Steve Arashikage, Spark aka Steve Jones, Blackjack aka Jack Johnson and Double Duece aka Doug Johnson and turned them into the Fab4. 4 rookie infielders for the 2018 champion Chicago White Sox. Hit & Run was in CF, Stretcher aka Garret JACKSON (Bo’s son) in RF DeeJay Sterling Thomas (Franks son) Heavy Duty in LF Charbroil Steve Laurence SP Pathfinder Steve Michaels SP.
When I got older I turned most of the GI Joe’s into sports stars. Scorpion became Scott Pion small forward for the Rocky Top Tauntauns along with Rock Viper (Ricky Vohoe) Laser Viper (Lenny Anderson) Sci Fi V2 (Bobby Anderson) and Metalhead (Max Headroom) they won several Endor Basketball Association titles. Others like Falcon, Chuckles, Hardball and Hit & Run are in my EBL vs MLB League on OOTP XX. Google it.
Scope is Walter Contrite I think and blue and yellow is eels
amazing vid
Thanks!
Another great video Michael, btw at 47:16 the orange balls go with that silver catapult.
Great video Mike, that zap bazooka is super rare, dual handle, ashame it's missing one, may display nice, straight arm early stuff, hard to find
GI JOE! great video
I never had the Night Raven or the Tomahawk in my collection, they were just too big 😆
The crossbow is one of the Ninja Force guys. Dojo perhaps?
Original Night creeper www.3djoes.com/night-creeper.html
Some great figures there made you make a video of you fixing them 2 !
The red ninja is Slice. There was a purple ninja named Dice
The red ninja is slice
JC Groen. Tracker. I loved his raft. He was a point guard for the LA Lakers.
Nice haul. From the looks of the end of the video, you figured out a lot. Let’s see if I can remember what hasn’t been mentioned. Skidmark is the Desert Fox driver; the squirt gun, chainsaw and gold helmet with orange faceplate are Cesspool’s; the giant gray backpack is Range Viper; the catapult thing (which requires a small rubber band) and the translucent orange balls are Incinerator; the propeller backpack is Annihilator; the black disk thing is for the Cobra Rat...that’s all I remember without going back.
BTW, have you ever used Yojoe.com’s WHOBIT function? It’s always great for figuring out who vintage accessories belong to.
Loved this video! Hope you keep on making such awesome videos in the year ahead...YO JOE
just one query...
Is there anywhere to find mystery boxes for vintage (gi joes or motu) action figures?
Hails from India _/\_
The red ninja is slice from ninja force
Yeah thats the first variation filecard for Zartan
I get a mild heart attack every time you had your finger touching storm shadows cobra emblem.
Flak Viper? Late Bob Flak. SG for Rocky Top.
My intention back then was to get all of the Vipers. Tele-Viper, Viper, Techno-Viper, Hydro, Heat, Frag, SAW, Night, etc.
My Alpine is in excellent condition. I didn't do much with him, so I guess I'm lucky.
My Night Raven's seat wouldn't stay up in place, so I taped it shut with a couple of strips of Scotch tape. Interestingly, while it was in the parent's attic for a couple of decades, the tape is still in place and I don't want to remove it. He, along with I think Astro-Viper, have been sitting in that cockpit for nearly 30 years.
Hit & Run, my all time favorite. Later named Brett (I hated Brent) Scott. Currently the CF for the Delgado Tigers. Shipwreck is his stepdad. He’s my fictional son. I don’t have mine anymore. 😭
COOL :D !
The bow at 57:40 is from the elf in ljn dungeons and dragons
The curved sword and over sized knife belongs to Ninja Force Slice - www.yojoe.com/action/92/slice.shtml
Gas tank for mail order APC? I had to google it. Not sure if that’s right.
I believe the helmet you have on charbroil at end of video belongs to cesspool
I prefer that version of BBQ.
Do you have a video showing your Cobra joes collection? Saw your joe one and it was awesome
Not yet but planning to.
Michael Mercy Thanks for the reply. Big fan of your show. I just got the teal ninja viper. Your joe video making the shelf motivated me back into collecting. Take care and thank you.
I swear I’m not trolling, just living going through all the old characters. Blizzard later Bob Bliss C for the KC Royals among other teams. In my Endor League he’s a clone of Sherm Lollar.
Awesome box. Lot of parts I recognized there. The red back pack you thought was a recolor of Snake Eyes version 3 is actually Night Creeper's along with that crossbow and the sword with the wavy blade.
Was a great year for me and my Joe collection as well. I rebuilt my childhood Moray Eel, Tomahawk, Night Raven, Mauler, and Rattler this year.
I see a HEAT Viper.
Is my favorite toys G.I.joe
Slice red ninja
What were the original doughnuts names other then zortan
Buzzer, Ripper, and Torch
Yo Michael these Real American Hero Joe's are nice and all but are you a collector of the original Man of Action line or even the later Adventure team with the Kung Fu Grip those are my favorite's and the History of the toy line is quite interesting as well. G.I Joe G.I. Joe fighting man from head to toe on the land and the sea and the air.
I want to start collecting GA Joe again I've been collecting marvel legends in DC do you know where I could start to get like a big lot of figures at a good price
Are you still accepting donations?
Where do I go too buy some old GIJoe from the 1980 and the 1990's
Need helping in finding price not out of my business budget
Ever tried eBay?
