This is a complete run through of how to play Mike's parts to "Animal" from the Vs Album including the solo :-) Enjoy!

btw, I've been meaning to say this for a while now, but while I admire the self-control you show in producing an instructional video to break down all the parts of these tracks, I'd love it if you'd just do one full run through at the end :D

Thanks man, i would've done for Animal but i hadn't learnt the whole solo. I've done that for other tunes and the next solo will have that. I'll do some covers at some point but it's tough finding time so i can maintain doing one vid a week sometimes :-)

One thing that would be super helpful would becto do one final run thru at the end, piecing it all together.
And if U can post the tabs end to end alongside it, well..you'd be almost spoiling us! But it would be super handy.
Because even after I've learnt every part, I still need to go over it and over it and over, etc...to get t sunk into my memory, and into my fingers.
It'd be great to have it paid out like that so we can just go straight religions.
But, like I said thank you. You've provided me more than enough resources for me to learn the solo / song properly.
you're welcome! downloadable tabs are available over at Patreon and i do play the riffs at the beginning of most of my vids where i can, they sometimes get demonetised or blocked if you play too much of them tho :-)

Mate, do you use 'the amazing slowdowner' to slow stuff down?
i do indeed! i use audacity (free PC software) and you can apply an effect that slows it down without changing tempo. Still hard to hear what's going on but you can often make out exactly what's being played. Warning: Listening to really quick passages of music slowed down over and over again can make you feel like you're going a bit mad :-)

@@bradysmith3400 cool city especially when you’re younger cos there’s loads to do, lots of work opportunities etc but moved out a year or so ago to the countryside, still go back for work and enjoy going back every so often. Chicago’s great, I visited there a few years back and had a great time! Used to like the Bears when I was a kid haha
