    Of all the ARC talks that I have heard, she is the first person to mention about India - the country with largest population in the entire world, world's 5th largest economy, a large, law abiding, leading and successful Indian diaspora across the world, world's largest democracy, and the oldest existing civilization in the world which believes that 'world is one family' (vasudhaiva kutumbakkam) ...
    While the ARC movement has made a fantastic and powerful beginning, I wonder how in such interconnected and globalized world can the West afford to not have any Indian representative at the table... Guess, to even identify whom to invite, the organisers need to sit up and look around and beyond their existing sense of the world...

    Insightful and eloquent. Well done. I had thought prompted by the discourse that deals with perhaps unnecessary growth of government and business alike. If you establish, with all good intent, a body to look for systemic problems such as discrimination, or any number of isms, what is the best way to avoid the resultant entrenchment and self protection evident in all regulatory bodies? A quite neutral example of virtue signaling is the concept of constant improvement, often featured in an organization’s mission statement. The problem here, of course, is that over time the incremental improvements become lost in the noise of measurement. Yet organizations are loathe to reassess the goal and the effort spent becomes a burden.

    A wise migration policy asks how many educated humans are in one country and how many does it take to achieve its development goals. A foolish migration policy steals educated humans from a poor country, brings them to a rich country. How is Haiti doing? Only the indigenous British will be loyal to UK wholeheartedly
      Why did Rishi Sunak leave the D-day ceremony early? Because he didn't care about the British culture, heritage and history.

    Thing is, she wouldn't be allowed to answer questions in full on most other platforms like the BBC or Channel4…There’d be a stream of interruptions from the interviewer that would render the whole interview to meaningless got ya soundbites

    I have a dilemma - Kemi is my mp and someone I respect highly. I consider her the finest of her generation and cohort within parliament. If she were to stand as an independent I would vote for her without reservation, however in order for me to show my support for her as an individual it means casting my vote for the tory party - a party I've never voted for in my life and actively loathe. What should I do?

    • @thomashowe1509
      @thomashowe1509 11 месяцев назад

      Maybe don’t look at who you vote for as voting for the party. In 2019, people who abandoned Labour in the wc areas didn’t do it out of love for the Conservative Party, but out of a warmth to Boris and to end the brexit debate. Looking at your vote as endorsing a political party is wrong to me and should base it off of the person

    This ladies head is well and truly connected, she has the intelligence to understand the issues, grievances, and the wherewithal to apprehend that changes need to be made.
    We, the Western World, the UK, the US, and Australia…
    How did we get here?
    We, (the Western World) need to challenge the activists. And confront their agenda.
