- Hi, I’m Ami, and I have lost 60 pounds following the principles of the Starch Solution & Calorie Density! I wanted to document losing the final few pounds in the hopes that it is helpful to others on the same journey 😊
I am uploaded these videos DAILY in the hopes that is helps inspire you and reassures you that you can eat this was no matter how busy or crazy your life is. I am a working mum of two so if i can do it, you can too ❤️

I have taken your advise and for the last couple of weeks started my first meal with lots of veggies!! I think it's making a difference in my weight loss so YES I will be going along for the ride in Feb for the beans and veggie for first meal!!

No worries on getting back to comments... Super impressive you do such in-depth "What I eat in a day" videos every day. I am really trying to preload with veggies. I have a hard time losing weight - - - as I am not as active as would be ideal. So I know preloading should help.

Had my sautéed veggies and chickpeas this morning and WOW YUM. I did some liquid aminos and a splash of maple syrup. Omg.
Hi Ami I’ve been making a version of your apple cake to eat for supper every night as I stay up so late I always get hungry and fancy something sweet thank you I’ve been hunting for something healthy for ages and this really hits the spot !! Love Romi’s cheeky smile and babbling she’s becoming quite a little star 💕yes I’ve been starting the day with veggies and beans I chop them the night before straight into my wok so they’re ready to go !!

And goodness I finally tasted the chickpea ice-cream (after long session with the liquidiser) and SO good and comforting. Maybe even better than banana nice-cream?
Romi is just the cutest. She’s growing so fast. I was going to ask you if you’ve tried ant diets in the past like calorie counting and slimming world. I find calorie counting exhausting and I think it can sometimes make you a bit obsessive. SW worked years ago but not anymore but not sure if it’s just me. Xxxx.
I don't if know youd have time but I would love a video some point about all the ways you use chickpeas since they are a big part of your meals. I just ordered a large bag of dry chickpeas but I really don't see alot out there on how people use them at least not in the way you do. Love your videos they inspire me alot thanks!!

Good morning Ami and sweet Romi 🌟 Right, I know that I suggested to you having an ENORMOUS-GIGANTIC fruit bowl right next to you, while you're on the couch feeding Romi. These early mornings while you're at the nursery waiting for Romi to finish, (absolutely NO NEED to be starving Ami!!!!) how about putting a huge bag of carrots 🥕 🥕 🥕 🥕 in your backpack, PLUS a couple of apples 🍎 🍎 PLUS some bananas 🍌 🍌 not forgetting GRAPES ~ Fruit can be so good, followed by whatever STARCHES you fancy. 😀 I roll my eyes each time you say you're starving, DON'T BECOME STARVING .... FRUIT-CARROTS-BANANAS-GRAPES etc. Sorry, I know I nag but they could be put into your backpack the night before, ready to go out the door in the morning
Exactly what I was thinking, the last few videos Ami is starving, and then when she does eat she feeds it to sweet Romi. I think she's got into her head to be the leanest she can be so she's not eating enough, then she becomes so hungry and tired. She could also pack a smoothie in her bag.

Does anyone remember which video had the burger recipe? I remember Ami commenting that millet gave them a kind of fatty texture, I know Abe was cutting up mushrooms...might be combining two videos in my mind.
I don’t know how many times I would stuff myself with chocolate and whatever else,because I was starting a diet the next day. 😒😒

I can totally relate! The reason you are having restrictive thoughts is because your lifestyle is very restrictive. I know volume eating is a thing but you seem to eat like a bottomless pit and that is how I used to eat on the starch solution. There is no “normal” way/amount of eating, but an “average” person cannot eat the amount of food that you eat and not feel disgustingly stuffed.
I know you talk a lot about hunger fullness cues but emotional hunger is very much real hunger, you do not honor your emotional hunger and cravings and that is why you feel like you can eat and eat and eat. Your mind is never satisfied and never will be because your emotional hunger is not honored. You are very food focused.
This is not meant to be critical, just some insight from experience.

In fairness to Ami her videos cover mealtimes showing us what she eats - we all get hungry and it’s good to see the healthy options instead of a lot of junk food but her day is also taken up with the children playing with Romi work and exercise so I although you say you’re not criticising it does read as if you are . All food vloggers talk a lot about food as they are showing us what they eat in a day so I for one am very grateful for Ami’s daily posts !

Ami's videos are really good, don't forget Ami is a breastfeeding mum, she can eat lot's and I think her diet works well for her.
