Personally, I thought he had a nicer tone than Mr. Frank Sinatra or Mrs. Swizz Beatz. He could sing any song better than Dame Shirley Bassey and create more emotion than Sir Barry Gibb. Joe is the definition of talent, a national treasure if you will.

As you said in your comment 'if I may' Joe said that so often all through his shows. Imagine if he had a script writer or someone to help with his lines. He could have cracked America easy. As I said, a true talent and the best ever vocal Impressionist.

Told a great story, (He is dead now so it makes no difference) about how he was so good at some of the singers that he had been brought into the studio to record some of their songs when the actually singers were unable to sing, were "sick" etc but never revealed who they were or the records.....
