Another item that I have that I really like is my RME Fireface UFX III digital interface. it has TotalMix which is excellent along with room correction if your going to do atmos.

Audioscape is probably the best overall clone company. I own most of the original pieces they clone along with the Audioscape versions and they are pretty much equally on par with the originals. Their 260 DBX is straight up exactly the same to my vintage DBX comps. Their Opto Comp is spot on to my Teletronix LA2A. Even their Pultecs are spot on.
I've had an EV 635a for over 25 years. I don't use it a lot but when I do, it's super cool. Also, tell me how you painted that main rook. I love the monotone dark color.

I have a home studio very very similar to yours....my wife let me keep 1/3 of our house for my studio space lol I work only in the music biz and bills need to be paid so she lets me work and make noise all day lol great having your own space. I used to use AKG C414's , 451 and km184 on overheads and recently tried the WA251's and actually preferred the wa251 smooth crisp buttery sound. KM184 area a tad tad bit smoother and the 451 you get that smooth crisp sound and the 414 are staple pf course, i really like all 3 but tbh surprised how much i liked the 251 (must be the tube). I recommend trying them out. Looking forward for more of your content. let us know how you like the soyuz tube SDC i you ever get those id like to also try those some time.
