this makes me feel so happy to see, being on t has been so wonderful but i’ve noticed my hairline creeping back, and hearing your experience has been so helpful
It's just a typical male hairline. I wouldn't worry about it. Once that is present, your hair should stop changing. I don't think you'll start balding.
It's awesome for you to share your experiences while educating people all at the same time. Much love and respect to you for this and other videos you've done as you went through your journey on T.
...Hi everyone...*I' ve been using Dermo Biotin Shampoo for a little over three weeks. My hair is permed and was really dry and damaged before I switched to this shampoo. I use it every day because I have to wash my hair after going to the gym and my hair is shiny and soft - like it hasn't been in a long time*..
Jamie, you know how much I admire you and respect your courage. You are one handsome, sexy dude! Thanks for making these videos to support and encourage others....................Ray
Do some transgender men grow hair on their back? or shoulders? I'm hoping that I DON'T, but my uncle, his son & grandson are all pretty furry. The grandson practically has a PELT on his shoulders; I'm hoping desperately that won't happen to me. I've been on T for about 9 months, but the first 3 were micro-doses; my Dr didn't really understand the purpose of HRT / T - she seemed to think just the presence of a bit of T would "help my dysphoria". Anyway, my arms, stomach & chest (to a much lesser extent) have grown hair, but nothing on my legs. My back has been itching like crazy & I've been scratching a lot. I'm very much afraid that I can feel hair. Have you heard of something like that? Thanks for these videos, by the way; they are very helpful.
...yes. i suppose it depends on your genetics. but typically, yes. pre-t i had virtually no hair on my arms or legs. never shaved the hair on my arms as i did my legs, but it didnt quite matter. the hair darkening and growth changed quite dramatically within the first 6 months-1 year. my father has very thick arm and leg hair. hair on the stomach is something as well. now 4 years on T, i would say that the body hair has remained stable since around 1 1/2 years. hasnt gone away, hasnt gotten worse. id say within the last 8 months-1 year ive begun to notice some back and shoulder hair, but my leg and arm hair grew in MUCH quicker than the hair on my back/shoulders did, so i would say that maybe i wont have much (which is fine by me). you should assume that anything normal to a cis man's puberty is what someone FTM will also experience. of course it varies, but body hair (at least in the legs and arms) is fairly universal.
I wouldn't worry about your hairline, its not necessarily starting to bald, it may just be assuming a more masculine version 😁

im wondering too cause i already have thin asf hair and i dont want to be bald...
@Drew Standridge phew
lower estrogen
Testosterone converts to DHT sometimes and if you're more sensitive to it, it'll cause hair loss
