In this draw with me video, I design western/cowboy fashion inspired outfits for two of my OC's (original characters) Strawberry and Saul and Blueberry Bill. I talk about my process and my ideas surrounding these specific designs, and share a little bit more about my daily life as an artist as I sketch out the characters. This sketchbook session inspired me to take on more complicated projects, and I even hint to a future painting idea towards the end. I love drawing and sketching, but I would love to take these designs even further and make more completed artworks. So draw a long with me and we can improve our art and ideas together!

I love how saul looks like a father figure or cool uncle and bill looks like a rich prince with a butler I think it's pretty funny and a nice contrast between each other

Ive been struggling with drawing and finishing my projects lately, I couldn't finish a project without scraping the idea or doing more than a few sketches in my sketchbook without giving up. Its gotten to the point where I started to doubt if I can even call myself an artist but your video was recommended to me and I decided "You know what? I like cowboys too, Ill draw with her" and I was finally able to finish a whole wild west themed page in my sketchbook. Its not much but Its enough to get the ball rolling, I really enjoyed your rambling and honestly would've been in this art block for so much longer if not for this video. I recently started swimming again (after not being able to for about 8 years due to medical reasons) and it honestly is helping a ton.
It's nice to refresh my mind (quite literally sometimes haha) and it's a great exercise for theshoulders and back, which is really good to counter my "shrimp position" when drawing or painting.
It's also just nice to feel better about myself and my body.

love this format of long videos so much, it's interesting to watch the process and listen to everything you say. Always look forward to all your videos, they inspire me to draw more and learn new things too 🩵 I usually watch your videos first, watch how you use colors, and then sit down to draw my own art. I often have a problem with everything being perfect in a drawing and it bothers me, so the idea of drawing for fun and enjoying the process is relaxing and helps a lot!! :)

Waht i drew along to this lovely video was a skyrim elder scrolls cowboy oc. I have never in my life played or watched a playthough of skyrim, and the only lore i know about skyrim is for this specific oc that i made because my friend loves and ships these two characters, Neloth and that one twink servant, so i made them a son in honor of her. He was raised by two very powerful sorcerers and is the heir to the televanni wizard house so after learnes about their climate i decided he would be a cowboy andrefused to acknowledge any lore stating why he should be literally any other lifestyle. Anyway he rides an oblivion horse and i love him

I totally relate to the exercise thing. I’m chronically ill and am only now (after 2 years) getting to where I can consistently exercise and it makes a world of difference! @Growwithjo is one of my favorite YT channels for exercise! I also love using resistance bands to build up strength in a beginner friendly way!

While watching this I had a healthy energy drink ( not my regular monster! ), toast chee peanut butter crackers, and some water. I started trying digital art again and coloring a pencil doodle I transferred over! Its a silly human shark playing volley ball.

I'm actually working on a project: its a book/story that I'm working on, so I draw a bunch of things that have to do with the characters so I can figure out their character more like what do they carry in their bag I draw all that, what kind of bag do they carry? Yk and I draw all that, I'm still not really good at drawing people traditionally since I mostly draw digitally so I do plan on practicing traditionally more often. Yeah :D that's what I'm working on! I am also looking forward to starting social media on my art and also making my own shop soon because I got lots of ideas and all that I really wanna share. Yep that's all thanks for reading lol

These guys would make a fantastic graphic novel - I’d read every adventure they had; I love your world building and ideas about these charachters. If ever you need inspiration to produce your own, take a peek at @TheAverageArtist. She has self-published several graphic novel/short stories and could be a neat resource/inspiration for doing so yourself.
