Great video, this was exactly what I was looking for! But how do you know how to price the product to cover for the shipping if you don't know where you'll get the order from? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, I don't have an Etsy shop yet, I'm just doing research at the moment and this is something I find confusing. So if I understood correctly, you price the item based on how much you have to pay printify + your profit margin, and the shipping is paid by the customer no matter how large the cost is? But what if you want to include free shipping? How do you price the items then and make sure you never owe printify anything? I'd be really grateful if someone could explain this to me >.
It also doesn’t include tax. I wasn’t expecting to see an additional charge. Thankfully my prices were priced well enough for me to not owe them money as I’ve seen with other people.

Hi Emma, I just opened my own Etsy shop and use Printify. Anything I should know about filing my taxes next year now that I have my own small business or do you use Turbo Tax for Etsy? If so is it simple and do I need to do anything on the Printify end or is all that info included in Turbo for Etsy?
I use TurboTax and it was simple. You just need to keep track of all your revenue and costs on all platforms so you know your profit. This was my first year doing so and TurboTax made it pretty easy!

Etsy is just the money you make, Printify is your costs. Etsy has no idea what your costs are. It's totally up to you what product price and shipping costs you set on Etsy. You just have to keep in mind the total costs from Printify. If you want to offer free shipping on Etsy then you have to add the cost of shipping from Printify into your Printify product costs.
How can we change our manufacturer if we don't like their product? I already created my design perfectly but don't like the quality of the manufacturer. Is it too late to change? will I can have to design my product all over again then pick a new manufacturer?

Hi there, since printify will always be your costs only so they will charge the shipping & cost of item. For example, I have some items with the cost of shipping added into the item for free shipping. Another example: Say the item costs $10 to make and $4 to ship on Printify. I could make the item $22 and charge $2 shipping (let's pretend I added in $10 for total item price to make money). Basically everything from Shopify is your revenue and everything from Printify are your costs. So you can really make up whatever shipping and item price for the customer to pay but just keep in the mind the costs from Printify. Does this make sense or answer you question? 😆
