wicked events as you could get away with playing dub plates mixing all types of music together without any fuss from people who just wanted a standard drum loop ,,not even hardstep + a bog standard bassline that doesn't change rather than loads of funky electro sounds and ragga hip hop thrown over the top of a tune a lot of folk would make into 5 or 6 tracks,, some plp R set on hearing same old old and give them new and old stuff mixed was useally best,,as our tunes are only really catching onto today, like tunes by brains who use guitar and complex non linear drum loops, we would do kick ass stuff like snoop dog and bob marley on the mike in the mixed genre arenas with top djs playing some of our tunes which styles didn't land till around 2005 with most producers + plp are still today just using bits of things we did 20 yr ago that took 20 times longer due to computers to make, somtimes our styles hadn't been heard b4 left plp looking around 2 say {is it cool to dance and go mad to this?} even tunes like pendulums rmx of voodoo plp ,,,we had a mental dubplate 1 of a kind tune of ours that sounds very simaler 8 years b4 it was out {the rmx} but some folk didn't start dancing till they saw most of the arena going mental ,,,also only once in a long while we would have rewinds called 4 ,= just make some noise go mental and let dj get on with it ,,still what with main lamestream media produceing dnb and jumping on the fact acid house had jungle hardcore trance garage house tekno etc wouldn't make as much money untill they cut it up into dark hardstep raga ETC liquid might as well been spelt lick-quid ,,as they SUCK every penny possible out of the very small at first differnces then djs got known for these small choice of set and then more so as they were expected to play the style plp were used to hearing , then with some djs getting labelled the best and their dj set style of tunes made more producers make that type {useally with less vocals and more electronic but less tunefull basslines} messed what could have made the whole scene way better and bigger, if even piano intros wernt cut down and vocals lost ,plus beats that were being used like the hiphop dubstep style intros plp liked to just bop back and forth to get into the groove b4 dancing at 180bpm full dnb ,also then you had some good but some crap MTV dnb which made plp instantly do the opposite if it was commercial -for instance if you had a no1 chart with lots of female singing raga and complex synths ,plp will say screw that chart crap I'm making stuff with the same drum loop the whole tune using 3 same flipping bass notes over n over, and to top it all off pills didn't make that much money and coke does which brings organized crime plp cutting drugs violence also messed up the rave scene
