Perfect song, forced ending. Comparing 4x09 Leyton to 3x09 Brucas is not even close. Brooke and Lucas' moment didn't need the confetti, the amazing scenery scenery or loud moments of happiness. I remember rolling my eyes at how contrived this whole scene felt. While it's still a good scene it still just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

Regardless of any of our opinions it's a FACT that Mark wrote Leyton in S4 bc he didn't know whether or not the show would be back next season. Hence; It was contrived as hell.
Prince Devitt Considering they were building Leyton up in season 3, I have an extremely tough time believing that they only decided to go back to Leyton because of the show might have been ending, so it's really isn't fact. If you want to see something that is contrived, go watch the ending of 2.10.
