      @Satyr1calMob1l1cal no, we don't support delusion

    • @whyaskmenoely25
      @whyaskmenoely25 8 месяцев назад

      @Satyr1calMob1l1cal Well, not specifically this person's friend. Its a generalisation. The delusion comes in when people think Apple is the bleeding edge of smarphone tech when they're almost 10 years behind. What is there to get excited about when you're being held back?
      Literally a couple of weeks ago, some coworkers showed this trick where you touch the iphones together to transfer data and I just go, Samsung had S-beam since 2013 on the S3...
      And the other delusion is people getting icked seeing green bubbles and thinking you're poor if you have an android. They've drunk the kool-aid so hard they don't realise its battery acid.
      I'm not blind hating either.
      After being on Samsung since 2013 on the S2 then S4 then S9, I was considering getting an iPhone. But seeing what Apple had on offer and the fact I'm used to Samsung's capabilities I went with the S22. And luckily I did otherwise I might as well have lost an arm for all the capabilities I would've lost. I would've ended up with a phone less advanced than an S9. That's crazy.
      IPhone just got usb-c on the 15s. They literally helped develop the standard for the Macbook Air in 2015. It's 2024, that's ludicrous. And to only offer 3.0 speeds on the flagship is robbery.
      Now you could say Apple waits for all the other companies to be crash dummies before they implement an idea. And that's smart, I applaud them for that. But that leaves room for wanting them to develop new things.
      The issue comes largely when Apple makes these bold claims and act like they're the pioneers and their consumers buy into their marketing out of ignorance. And they rob their consumers. Apple tax is atrocious.
      Iphone had its merits until the iPhone 5 or 6. It was a genuinelly great phone. And the original iPhone changed the game. But now they're primarily status symbols. Other manufacturers have surpassed their offerings.
      Their only real utility is staying in the Apple ecosystem or for someone with no interest in messing with the phone, which is totally cool. Its the reason I push my parents not to get Android and stay on iPhone.
      Im all for people enjoying their phone. But don't start acting like iPhone is the best and/or slandering android. Far too much of that happens out of nowhere for no reason.

    • @jhaz89
      @jhaz89 Год назад

      Well it definitely uses battery. It requires electricity to light those pixels up. It's probably not a big deal over the course of 30 minutes but when your phone is in your pocket for like 6 hours per day, pretty huge waste . Do you just sit and stare at your dimmed wallpaper frequently? Haha. Very strange impractical feature. Static images are bad for screens and in general, screens and pixels also wear out. So trying to minimize unnecessary screen usage is smart. It could only result in screen burn in to happen sooner, and it doesn't seem worth getting a dim glimpse of wallpaper every now and then when checking the time...Once the phone gets a bit older and the battery starts to wear out, battery use will be more noticeable. Just from a device care perspective, it's a lot better to turn that feature off. Just sayin.
