    Is just a little noise that can be adjusted not a problem my friend and when a Target is underneath the coil is undeniable signal.

    My eurotek pro does the same on wet sand! Chatters but hits clean on a good target! It does great for a single frequency machine! I found a nice silver chain with it one day in the wet salty beach sand. 🤘🏻

      +Chris Furr sounds good mate ,like you say for a single frequency machine very good 😉 HH mate

    Nice to see the deus working on wet sand. Going to try it myself as staying in Goodrington for the weekend

    i use both Deus and the safari on the beach , if you want to search the wet sand and the shallow pools with your coil submerged
    and attain greater depths on highly mineralised wet salt sand you've to go for BBS or FBS.
    I've used the Deus submerged with its passive antenna in three foot of salt water and found coins,that was in Antigua i dont wade in the sea off of Brighton its either to cold or to rough .
    in essence the Deus is similar in performance on the beach to the Xtera as you get nearer to the wet coming from the dry/damp
    you have turn you sensitivity down because it cant cope with the salt ,don't mean you wont find a coin or whatever, but you will loose depth.horses for courses....IMO.

    Nice mate, good info & keep up the good work. I think chatter can get confusing for anyone starting out & i know i struggled with chatter at certain beaches with my AT Pro. You just got to keep at it & learn the difference in those tones. But good to see & helpful getting the information out there. Happy Hunting ;)

      Diggin Devon cheers mate 👍yeah I think once you learn your machine , no matter what it is you can pick out the good From the bad ATB 😉

    Im used to listening for raised tones in iron infested crop fields. Going to a salt water beach soon and this gives me confidence in my Deus. I see you use the wet sand pre set, do you manipulate settings at all? Sens? Reactivity?

      Honestly my fiend I have always left them stock settings on the wet beach mode but I should perhaps play around a little, I like to turn her on and feet cracking 😉

      Steve Trout hi mate 👍 outstanding machine with the FBS (full band spectrum) technology (multi frequency) , making it a very stable machine , GL and thanks for the view 😉

      very deep and very stable
      deeper then you want too dig at times so arrange a firm wade/ sand scoop ... i use my old explorer on the wet sand and it is all i ever wanted .

    I have the deus, never had it on the beach, but if it's half as good on a beach as on land, then it's a winner for me. I love it. Ps what editing software do you use mare

      51foxy Hi ,yeah I alternate between machines but the deus is great ,light weight and nice positive tones, I use photoshop and premiere pro ATB HH and good luck 😉

    the higther the frequency the chattier the detector will be , the thing is to punch trough mineralisation you need highter frequency... i personnaly hunt as much as i can in 4khz , it give clear signal and way less faulting . For me the deus is very good in dry or slightly wet sand better than excal for those ground. you loose a lot when you are going in beach ground balance at this point the deus get rolled over by multifreq vlf.

      Youdig great advice for me and anyone else watching cheers and HH mate , 😉

      btw the best program for wet mineralised is Gold field ( beach gb, iar5 work good for me, and the frequency is up to your choice) ground balance on the pinpoint button and you pump in gold field mode.

      @nono Nicolas , your personal sexual practice only regard yourself =) .
      The déus is not better than any regular big brand single freq vlf , his only strength is you can modify a lot of settings ( before with the remote, and now with the headset on the v5), which is very sad considering only 15% of his user are using custom program of fiddling with settings.
      That said my advice about gold field was for the version 3.2 at the 4.+ gold field is not stable enough to be used on wet sand.
      I do have a BBS multifreq machine for wet sand which is way above deus in wet sand like i said in my initial comment.

    Hello Devon, I can tell you the detecting depth is rubbish. You won't detect a ring at 30cm for sure with DEUS on wet beach.

    • @Detectingdevon
      @Detectingdevon  7 лет назад +1

      Booleys cheers mate I found it gets pretty deep,but yes had others say about deep targets that's it's not the best cheers for your post anyways and HH 👍

    • @4178529
      @4178529 7 лет назад +1

      30 cm is approx. 11.75 inches. Guess I would be very happy to find a ring at that depth---wet or dry sand ! Have you tried any basic programme with the Deus ? Paul Cee did one using the Deus " hot "-----seemed to work ok.

    • @bomigetoio

      Booleys what metal detector you use to find the 30cm deep ring? What you recomand?

    • @pug2322
      @pug2322 7 лет назад +1

      CrazyCressy7 yep! It's a game changer using tone as your guide, I'm currently using a Golden Mask and yes I'm digging more foil! But the other finds I'm pulling out most definitely make up for the extra effort of emptying the fields of foil and rubbish, you only get what your prepared to put into it in this game, it's all about trusting the machine and stepping up the physical aspect, the rewards will come to those that work at it. Too many lazy detectorists wanting the best bits to jump into their finds pouch out there if you ask me.

      bang on buddy ,i buried a 1727 half gold guinea at about 6" on a dig and there was 2 chaps 1 had a xp deus and the other had a 3030 ,both swang over it and said they would not dig it as the numbers were wrong ,i then walked away saying thats why its mine and not yours and found with a ACE250 with a tornado coil ;) i discrim iron and dig everything else ,dig a lot of crap but dont miss much ;) we also find hot spots and hit them about 5 times before we move on ,but always go back to them the following year ;)
