菅沼孝三さんもこんなに優秀な弟子を育ててさぞや自慢だったことでしょう、RIP
これに関しては430万人が見てるんじゃなく、4万人が100回見てると考えるレベルの中毒さ
何が凄いって、最後のシンバルワークでしょ。
かっこ良すぎてぐうの音も出ない。
何年経ってもちょくちょく聴きたくなっちゃう名演です。
For those who didn't know, she is 18 and has played drums for over 13 years. She was taught by Kozo Suganuma--one of the very best drummers in Japan--since age 8. She is a professional drummer now, and has her own songs (and her signature Zildjian sticks haha). She is very well known here in Japan :)
Hah, she's the reason I've been playing drums since 10.

どれだけ練習すればこれくらい叩けるようになるんだ……ただ練習すればいいわけでもないんだろうな、なんかもう、、すげぇ
ただ手数が多けりゃいいわけでもない、一定に叩ければいいわけでもない
なんて表現すればいいんだ、演奏がとても耳に残る。

ドラムってこんな表情豊かな楽器なんだねえ。うっとり。
音もフレーズもカラフルでエキサイティング、RUclipsにドラム動画は数あれど、聴いていてこれほどワクワクする動画はなかなかないよ。デモ演奏だが紛れもなく名演だ。

This is by far one of my favorite drummers and drum pieces. I'm blown away every time I watch. My daughter thinks she's awesome. Hopefully she'll be an inspiration. I can't wait to teach my girl drums. She has shown great potential and interest. Seeing my daughter play drums for the first and only time so far was a high light. She really pays attention to the videos I show her and the few times she saw me. She was actually playing and trying her hardest to do physically demanding things. She was hitting that double bass thrash beat. I couldn't believe what she was doing. She almost did better than me on my very first time but my advantage was I had been air drumming for 5 years and I was 15, she is 9. I was so proud that I was welling with tears as I recorded her.

圧巻のドラミング。この動画でお酒が飲めます。
日本が世界に誇るドラマーは神保彰と川口千里とは聞いていたけれども実際に演奏を視聴したことはなかった
実際視聴してみると軽々しく叩いているのに音がとても力強い、そして手数も多く大変な技量だと感服しました
全てのシンバルの使い方がめちゃくちゃ上手い。
才能も勿論あると思うけど、それ以上に心の底からドラムが好きで小さい頃からずっと努力してきたことが最後の叩き終わった後の笑顔で伝わってきた。
千里ちゃんはこれから先もっと楽しませてもらうことのできるスーパードラマーだと思う！
I'm honestly so blown away. I can barely even believe the stick juggling on the hi-hat all while keeping an even bass drum. Just wow. 超すごい。本当に。

I knew she was an incredible drummer, but I'm forced to use an Americanism; "I know, right!?"
Yeah, I'm just kind of half paying attention as I do my morning things and then I was like "Wait! What?" I had to back up the tape and watch that again to be sure that was what I saw. Very nice!
And she really seems to love to kick that bass drum, doesn't she? She has so many movements that I'd never even heard of, and it's like riding a bicycle for her. Meh. No biggy! And then the smile at the end. Great stuff.

ここまで、スネアを鳴らせる人も珍しい・・・。
もはや、素晴らしいの一言に尽きる。
ドラムの鳴りもきちんと引き出せてるし、その上ドラムの発音がしっかりしてる。
シンバル類はサスティーンがきれいにでてるし、複雑な倍音も引き出せてる。
そういった意味においても、稀有なドラマーであまりいないタイプだといえそうです。
凄いとしか言い様がない！

Senri, I'm a bass player in several bands and teaching bass, I've seen quite a few drummers and I always keep coming back to this video to smile while watching one of the best drummers around the world, for sure. Keep on hitting!!

I remember discovering this video when Tom Morello praised her on fb not long after this video was uploaded to her channel and at 0:16 , that opening drum groove blew me away with that speed and tempo of the track. I always end up watching this video again and again occasionally and was really inspired by this.

I'm blown away. I've watched this video at least 10 times. I'm so proud of her. This is real talent, twerking is not. She is hands down the best female drummer I have ever heard and seen. And she's still a kid, She's probably 12 in this video. But considering many Asians, she's probably 25 lol. Either way she is the best I've encountered and I'm very proud of her. Now I want to see a girl or woman play extreme death metal drums. The ones I've found aren't very extreme. Come on ladies this girl can do it. Still waiting for an all female death metal band. Kittie is really good but not death metal. Fast double bass and blast beats ladies. This girl shows the world that women can roar just as loud as men. I think this little lady is even better than Neil Pert. I hear some of his influence in her playing

Holy Cow! The Japanese just continue to produce musicians at such a high level of talent! I haven't really been paying much attention to music. It had gotten boring. (And I'm getting old.) Then I discovered Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. Then when I looked at her composer/producer I discovered Perfume. And now Kanade and Senri! Wow doesn't really even describe what's happening musically in Japan. I am so looking forward to seeing what these two girls (Senri and Kanade) do over the years!
