Ik jamaica got it struggles, but growing up in philly and nyc, ik a ton of jamaican cats and jamaica will always be a special place to me and the music and people will always have a place in my heart.
Ghanaian watching you from Canada. I can say that, excepting the driving on the left, which used to be same in Ghana until 1974, when we switched to right hand driving, the sights and sounds do look very much like any small town in Ghana. No wonder we are of the same stock. It is One Love Ghana 🇬🇭and Jamaica 🇯🇲.
Locals would take all of this for granted but they have no idea how much of a refreshing and welcoming energy this brings to ones day especially when u r away from Jamaica for a while. One could still see the clench that poverty has on its people but they r soldiering on regardless...love Ja.
Big up to Fabian. Small town so when a stranger passing through them watch u. I was surprised u walk the town I was born in 1963. My grandfather moved from Kingston and built that first two story building on the left when the video just started. It brings back memories eventhough i was born there but grew up near Dunns river falls then moved to the usa in 1974. it brings back memories when i visited my grandfada and grandmada. thanks again.
Haven’t been to Lionel Town in a while and I felt like I was actually there in person 🤗🤗🤗 Love the fact that I got to see all that changed on the main street
Great viewing on Kellitts., I even shared it with my son.. cause I passed my country house at Bryant’s Hill at Pumpkin Shop after you cross the old bridge.. Yu brought back great memories . You passed the old relics of the railroad tracks (the Viaduct )… granny used to talk about KELLITS a lot..thanks so much.,
@ no they aren’t mad at all. She smiles a lot, cause I constantly watch the same video at least once or twice every other day as I’m visiting Jamaica in a couple of weeks and I use this video to remind me of what it looks like as I left as a child, but you walked exactly right, where I stand and take taxiand you passed my home. I hope you come and do another video down there again sometime soon.
It is beautiful to see black people outside of Africa. That place is no different from any African country. Big up to Jamaicans and of course, this channel for informative shots... I can walk that town without having to feel like I am a foreigner.
We are descendants of Africa so alot of the traditions and culture have been reserved. There are also quite a few Africans who reside here. I have a Nigerian friend and he blends right in 😄
This is the land of the greatest star of all time, Robert Nesta Marley. I'll go there in a while, I'm in Boston-USA, but I'm Brazilian at heart and soul, but I love Reggae. God bless the Jamaican people. Jah Alive! Big hug from Rubao Styler-Brazil
Bless up yourself brethren, manners and respect to your channel, I know it takes a lot of work and time to film and edit these videos. I like how we can see the beautiful people of sweet Jamrock out in the streets hustling for the food and making the economy strive everyday. Some channels we don't get to see nothing but road, which isn't bad,but it's not like seeing the people that makes it make sense. I can cannot wait to visit your beautiful country,it has so much to offer from day until night time. Have you ever thought about a nightlife video?
Thank you so much for the kind words. I really love what I do. I hope you have a great experience when you visit. As for nighttime videos, I just really wanted to stick to day/evening footage for better viewing experience however I'm open to incorporating night life in the future 😀
Can’t believe u did a walk by in Lionel town .. I’m actually from there but left 40 years ago.. I’m in the states. U actually startled the video of my grandfather big building on the left side.. buay, life is really a cycle
Seeing comments such as this really makes me feel good inside. I'm wondering though , why are the persons so serious and tense? Was it always like this?
Just happen to run into you video. Surely enjoyed it... was like a live tour. I felt the atmosphere. Was really hoping for some interaction as the people in the video seem so down to earth, u know like an irie Jamaican is to be. Jaaaah! Will look for more of your vids bcuz it really takes me there even tho it's just a vid. Had a friend who vacationed in Jamaica... I dunno what area. But the vid inspires me to do the same. Seem like a laid back, good place, good people. Blessings JWB, and more blessings to your video productions to come.

I really like the drone shots. Good to see so many buildings with solar panels. Every roof should have at least one solar panel. You can start out small with a one panel/battery system to just charge phones and maybe run one LED light then upgrade from there as your budget allows. Nice video.
