Kellits is a settlement in Jamaica. It has a population of 2,658 as of 2009. Kellits may take its name from the landholding of Moses Kellet, assembly man for the parish of Clarendon in the 1750s, although records give even earlier reference to a George Kellet of Clarendon and his son Henry, born in 1698.

Kellits has really developed over the years. Kudos to the business people and their vision. Kellits is the #1 town in Northern Clarendon. They need a police station,a fire station ,a commercial bank and a medical facility

Im from farin and I visit this place every time i come to jamaica, my husband is from arthur seat. I go here to shop, get my hair done, eat food , change money and hang out.

When I use to think of Kellits, I was thinking bush & the high school football team from school boys football but this video surprised me. The people look good, dress nice, big houses & nice buildings. I assume they have lots of relatives overseas base on the line at Western Union. They need a police station up there.

The credit union is around the corner, just past the community drug store. It's a ring road that would have brought you back to the post office, community centre, community play field, secondary school, then back to the plaza.

Imvisited Kelitts when I was twelve.My big sister was teaching at Bensonton,just over the border in St.Ann.Claremont is not too far away.Not sure if thier nearest Hospital is St.Anns Bay or Linstead.Do they have to rely on Police from Claremont?I don't know.I visited Kellitts more than sixty years ago.
I recently learnt that there's a police station at Crofts Hill. I'm wondering if the nearest hospital would be Chapelton Hospital 🤔
