I agree a very cool thing to do. 🤗 But the owner might not have room for the ramcharger anymore so who knows there might be a situation problem with that. 🤗 but yes I agree that would be very cool.
if you find a good shop stay with them. most just fire parts cannon and are like I don't know. anyone can change out parts. diagnosis and troubleshooting is where the real skill is and most shops just have part monkeys.
"We have gauges. None of them work." Has to be the understatement of the year 😂 Also, James is a gem if a dude. Good to have friends like that, that always have your back.
"Never assume because its new that it cant be bad" So true. I had a persistent cold start issue on an old diesel once. I changed the heater plugs as one tested bad. It started better but not right. Top and tail, after a year of problems, i looked into it and thought I'd keep it simple and start with the basics. Tested all the plugs and one was bad. One of the brand-new ones. So I bought another plug, swapped that in and the problem was fixed. Relief, anger at the part and anger at myself for not doing that sooner all washed over me at once. It was an interesting experience 😅
I have also had this issue with my early 94 Chevy Z71 Silverado extended cab short bed onyx triple gloss black with a quicksilver center down both sides of the truck and the tailgate, truck had a replacement rebuilt 350, and it was on its second failing fuel pump, and i took one look at the nasty fuel filter and bought a complete fuel pump sending unit assembly and noticed after getting it running the fuel pump relay was getting hot so it was replaced with a ac Delco replacement, and the sbc tbi distributor though functional was completely rusted inside so it was swapped out with a parts store equivalent new belden napa 7mm ignition wires and ac Delco r45ts plugs and it was constantly backfiring out the exhaust pipes and glass pack mufflers and cannon exhaust tips and neighbors hated my truck, anyway the tbi on the truck was from god knows what, and i had rebuilt it twice and the second time replaced the fuel pump regulator and spring and gasket, and the iac, and no change two years later it becomes to backfire with almost any throttle input and mostly out of the passenger side third tbi rebuild i must not have been paying attention before because i noticed the passenger side 5279 45lph fuel injector 305tbi and the correct 5206 55lph 350tbi fuel injector and swapped out the tbi with a running unit from a 2wd 350tbi truck and it ran better but still backfiring occasionally i noticed the parts store equivalent ignition control module has no identification whatsoever and swapped out a acdelco ds194a replacement ignition control module and it ran alot better but still taking longer to start than i was happy with so i replaced the oil pressure sending unit fuel pump cutoff switch and noticed it was a 2 prong and connector pigtail to the truck was a three prong,87 was before the fuel pump cutoff, that led me back to the fuel pump relay that used to get warm and noticed the test fused side of the relay was jumpered to the battery unhook that and the truck doesn't start, swapped out the replacement fuel pump relay to the original that used to get hot and bam running and doesn't backfire anymore!!! So yeah several new parts junk issues and the main culprit that killed two new fuel pumps was no one swapped over to the 94 style oil pressure sending unit fuel pump cutoff switch, and just fed the test side of the fused relay constant 12 volt with the key on,i also had a starting issue with the truck i ended up getting a alternator tested and the battery replaced twice and then new starter went back to the mini torque gear reduction starter the 94 is supposed to have and that issue was fixed this was a ac Delco service performance parts replacement from Amazon and was better than the new auto zone high torque value craft reman junk on the truck
I had timed this truck several times, as well as replaced the ignition coil also because it was rusted, same as the inside of the tbi distributor when i got the truck.
The truck is always thought needed shimmed that was because former owner had filed the mounting flange surface on the starter rather than using shims and the solenoid was going out that is why i decided to just go back to the mini torque gear reduction starter the 94 is supposed to have

a questionable revival that was great. my best friend''s dad had a silver ram charger that i thought was the coolest rig. brings back some memories. heck i think it may have even been the same year. ram cahrgers are rare in this area i dont even remember the last time i saw one even in a junk yard. love the videos jared always a pleasure to watch.
This shows no one want to pay for someone elses project. Sadly you need to sort it out if you want to sell a project car. Otherwise you got to give them away (cheap or literally). Nice guy that figure out it was better to give to a good cause (channel).
I love how the hood fills with water at a stoplight in the rain and when you take off all that water rushes up your windshield and back down onto the Distributer causing it to die in the middle of the intersection.
those types of trucks are so cool, i've had a 79 bronco and an 85 gmc jimmy, always had the top off. looking for another bronco now, hoping for a 95.......unless this goes up for sale???? hmmmmmm???
There's a Voltex (Penn State) facility in Norcross, GA that you can buy blemished batteries from. Absolutely nothing wrong with them, although you do get a reduced warranty.
If you painted below the sculpted body line along with the hood and the top shell matte black it might look better. Nothing fancy. Rustoleum would probably do the job. As for what to do with it, I think it could make a great off-road recovery vehicle useful for pulling classic cars out of farm fields that have settled into the mud and are overgrown with grass and shrubs, assuming the current drive train can provide the necessary torque to do the job of course. Just a thought.
Could see the devastation in his eyes when you got it running. What's the bet he finishes it off and returns it to him hopefully ❤
If he does I have a couple project cars he can "have" too.
It’s just a shame the shops I’m sure he paid good money to couldn’t take care of him.

One thing I’ve learned after 30 years of mechanical work is just because it’s new doesn’t mean it’s good.
I think what Mathew (Prior owner) took the most comfort in was that if he does not keep it Jared will make sure the RamCharger will go to a good home.

Lone Wolf McQuade.. fell in love with the ram charger after that film, also always liked mopar
Ramchargers are the best!!! So lucky
Editor Dwayne in da house!! Yes Please! Keep them coming!💚
you can't name it the Grinch because they will come after you and they'll take your vehicle from you it's copywritten. you can go ahead and talk to the boosted boiz on that.
That’s a pretty cool truck. A lot of potential. Can’t wait to see more progress on this beauty.
Put some yellow k.c. lights on it and name the Grinch
I was literally expected it to glow neon green like a glow-stick in the dark... wow, just wow...
a questionable revival that was great. my best friend''s dad had a silver ram charger that i thought was the coolest rig. brings back some memories. heck i think it may have even been the same year. ram cahrgers are rare in this area i dont even remember the last time i saw one even in a junk yard. love the videos jared always a pleasure to watch.
Plymouth Trail Duster was the rarest one
Jarrod so good to see you got it running. Sorry for Matthew having yo deal with idiots who messed him around.
This shows no one want to pay for someone elses project. Sadly you need to sort it out if you want to sell a project car. Otherwise you got to give them away (cheap or literally). Nice guy that figure out it was better to give to a good cause (channel).
HELL YES, A RAMCHARGER!!!
A Ramcharger needs a turbo!
@michaelmonday418 nah if it's an offroad toy, supercharger or just a nice built n/a. When off-roading, the kiss method mang!
great job Jared
Something tells me Matthew will see this Ramcharger again. Jared is a big softie and can't resist a car reunion story!
I had a 82 with a 318 4wd tons of fun
The LimeCharger looks like it will be a nice addition to the family. The texture even reminds me of Roadblock.
Call it KERMIT! Make sure to do a follow up of him seeing and driving it when its fixed up!
I’m from Brunswick, I’d have paid for that!
Love this video Jared! whatcha gonna do with it now?
as the caretaker of a 74 club cab power wagon, I know the pain at the pump.
Neighbor in the 90s had a few of them then in the 2000 I was offered one but didn't take
I bet Jamey from 'Dead Dodge Garage' channel would like this truck. Wrong coast tho.
Lol love watching dead dodge garage and Tyler's neighborhood garage
Make a pulling truck!
Nice find. Put a 4bt in it!
Krampus. Because it’s questionable.
Call it the G-Wrench
Dynamic Duo James and Jared Vehicle Rescuers.
I love how the hood fills with water at a stoplight in the rain and when you take off all that water rushes up your windshield and back down onto the Distributer causing it to die in the middle of the intersection.
Love the grinch mobile.
I have a suggestion for the Ram Charger. I would call it the "Green Goblin".
those types of trucks are so cool, i've had a 79 bronco and an 85 gmc jimmy, always had the top off. looking for another bronco now, hoping for a 95.......unless this goes up for sale???? hmmmmmm???
I grew up with a excide battery plant close by ... could go by new batteries with a blemished case for 25.00
There's a Voltex (Penn State) facility in Norcross, GA that you can buy blemished batteries from.
Ran three miles before it was put up for restoration. So, cool. It ran when parked. 😅
That was cool, I wish I had you around when my cars act up. If you can't get something running, then it can't be done.
Super sweeet ram charger ! Good job on the build Matt , hopefully we see you behind the wheel one day!
I've actually never heard of a ramcharger. Looks dope as hell.
It looks awesome!
Put a hellcat motor in it!
She is a definite candidate for the Dustbowl Rally, the right price.
I don't why but i enjoy when you road trip the vehicle's back to the shop, that rigs pretty sweet 😁👍
Glad to see the green goblin made it!!!! Can’t wait to see it when it’s completely done!!
I had one of those, let’s see if the transmission get him home
great show ill be back found you through VGG
