But then 20 mins later, after hearing the band I jam in belt out Angel of Death, and some old school Sepultura & Testament & Exodus tunes, those same people ain't talking shit no more. Then they wish they were blessed with being a Metalhead. And I always tell them, "you wouldn't suit metal, because you're only a fan of part time music, and Metal is more than music, it's a lifestyle".

I think Reign in Blood is still one of the (if not *the*) best-recorded thrash metal albums of all time. Very clear, crisp and harsh sound. Makes Seasons in the Abyss sound like a muddied mess and most other albums recorded by the Big 4 in the 80s sound very lackluster, sterile and borderline amateurish in comparison. (I know some were done that way intentionally but I think that was a poor choice)
