It is such a shame that Jerry Jones has not learned one thing from Jimmy Johnson or Bill Parcells. Just take a look at every team that has ever won, and take notice of the three interior OL and the middle three of the front 7 on the defensive side of the ball. Those six positions have always been the strength of every team that has won. Those three upfront on the OL determine whether a team can run the football. If you can run the ball even against the best defensive teams in the league, then you will be able to set up the pass via play action. Defensively, it is those three that are needed to stop the run in order to force opposing teams to pass, to which your pass rushers can tee off on quarterbacks and defensive backs can make plays intercepting passes from pressured QBs. Why can’t Jerry and Stephen Jones learn this valuable lesson and recognize why the team has been losers for three decades while only Washington has the longest streak in the NFC of not playing in a conference championship game than Dallas?
They just spent two first round picks on d line and o line and a second and third on the same.
How about get a coach that can game plan per opponent and lead his team too much wasted talent due to poor coaching!

@@nbafl Jerry ran off all three that we had. First he fired Tom Landry. Then he ran Jimmy Johnson out of town. And then he stabbed Bill Parcells in the back by ruining the chemistry of the team he was building, which led to him retiring prematurely. As soon as a coach proves he can win in Dallas, he gets rid of them. That is why the Cowboys will not win.

I'll believe that John Stephens Jr. is a tight end when the Cowboys change his roster position to TE on their official website. Until then, I will see him as a big wide receiver. In many ways, I'd be happier with the Cowboys keeping him as a big wide receiver.
The NFL needs to change to a 58 man roster with 55 of them being active for every game. That would allow teams to substitute players more so that players are fresher in each game and throughout the season. Reducing the number of impacts that way would do more to reduce injuries than changing the kickoff rules. I want the old kickoffs back and more players on each team.
Let the young guys play in the preseason and if needed bring in Campbell
We’ll be fine with Fehoko, Sam Williams and Kneeland in wave two after D-Law and Parsons. Dorrance Armstrong and Fowler were decent as backups, but if I recall correctly, Fowler has an issue of untimely penalties that really cost us late in some games.

He isnt the answer. Shadeur is a backup for his NFL career at best. There is too much hype over him. I say in the draft next year we get someone who is not afraid under pressure and can make plays on the run. If we can get a qb like a Aaron Rodgers type we would be great. We need a new RT and we need Safties as well as running backs.

By improving run blocking with the new offensive lineman and picking up the blocking tight end as the Ud a. We should be a little better than expected but not where we need to be to compete for the playoffs
I think our Oline is better now than it was last year and we had the best offense in certain categories. Losing Tyron was tough but he didn't play that much. Biadiz is replaced by Beebee easy upgrade! Guyton and Smith on the left side is a LOCK ..Martin and Steele are a great duo (Martin can help Steele) beebee will have his spot on lock down. Add in the bigger TE set with Zeke also in protection sh********

Cooper Rush is the classic statue quarterback. You protect him and he's very serviceable. You shake em and make him uncomfortable and it's over. Simple
a wr3 i can get for a 5th and maybe a trade where i can get a good dt and a backup vet linebacker maybe someone on the down hill slide but would be good for the locker room and give decent depth at lower reps
We needed a WR when DK was in the draft. Geriatric Jones very easily could’ve traded up in the 2nd rd and grabbed him then. That’s what pisses me off about Dallas the most, we miss on so many obvious game changers at position of need and draft raw prospects earlier than projected. And you know OL Jerrul ain’t gonna tank the team so I don’t see us with a #1 ovr pick anytime soon

Zeke's graduate regression in yards is directly related to the instability in the line.2016 was our best Oline play. Then Oleary got hurt, then but L'ael Collins stepped up no problem. 17' Tyron got hurt, Doug Free Retired, 18 Travis got GB virus and Joe Looney Started. From there on the line was never the same. Plus don't forget about the bullshit suspension, and the contract problem. He friggin played through a PCL injury. He returned healthy but the new steam sucked. Zeke got timed in a game at 22mph in 2022, that's not regression that's not being used the right way. I say we find a suckered and trade Steele for a 4th or 5th, free up his cap hit because he totally sucked last year and won't help us.

People say he sucked with the 49rs but he got hurt right away the 1st and 2nd year so he didn't even get a chance so it's not fair to say he is not good, he was the 3rd overall all pick in the 1st round and Dack was drafted in the 4th round towards the end of the 4th round so come on people think think. Zeke is a blitz pickup back. He never had RB skills he was just strong and fast he is no longer fast.
