The only brush I have from this series is the FO-10, and I can confirm that it is perfect for a one-and-done eyeshadow look. I’ve wanted to add one of the face brushes to my collection, and I’m leaning towards the FO-4. I don’t have a brush that I love for bronzer yet, so I think it will fit perfectly into my collection!
Thank you for the video. I’m sorry that you didn’t love all the brushes, but I think that you have convinced me to pick up the F-O3! I have the F-O4, F-O9 and FO-10. I chose the FO-9 over the FO-3 which is surprising because I have a pretty small face. But I was in the mood for a large fluffy brush for all over powder and I must say that it is spectacular! My absolute favorite powder brush. I used the FO-10 for concealer the other day (although it is not meant for creams or liquids) and it did a wonderful job. I just wiped it off immediately after on a microfiber cloth. I always forget to use it for shadow since it is so small, but love it for concealer.
Thanks for sharing your experiences! :) I’ve been loving the FO-3 - so incredibly soft! It’s good to know that the FO-9 works for small faces and that the FO-10 works for concealer. I’ve been really enjoying brushes that have that “fingertip” type of shape.
I’m obsessed with this series. I only have the FO1 & the FO10, which is probably the most unique & handy eyeshadow brush I have, but I desperately want the FO2, FO5, and FO9 as well. You might’ve even sold me on the FO3 now too… Gorgeous look you came up with, even if you didn’t think so! SUQQU and Chikuhodo are a match made in heaven in my estimation 🤩
Thanks so much! I’m glad the look ended up coming together :) I’m so impressed with the FO-10’s shape - it’s really unique in my collection and I’m enjoying exploring its uses!
Great review! I liked how you used the brushes with Japanese makeup products to really showcase how they can work. I recently picked up FO3 and I love it. It is really one of the softest brushes and definitely no individual prickliness like you said! Looking to get FO3 after your review!
I just finished watching your milestone video and gosh a good camera sure makes a difference! I have a few of these brushes and I think you’ve showcased them both beautifully and realistically. I really appreciate the sharp and clean images. That paw shaped brush is on my wishlist. I love the F04 for pigmented bronzer. I love it for the hourglass palettes because it’s wispy but not too big. For a slightly smaller brush with this sort of shape, I really like the Houkodou Sora Series GC7. I really like and frequently pick up the F08 to get a super dark color really close to the lower lash line then I’ll diffuse it with a lighter shadow and fluffier brush. I really like the F03 but I tend to pick my Hakuhodo brushes up first if I want a bigger powder brush. I use the F05 for under eye powder, concealer or nose contour. I like your discussion around the fox brushes. I share your final opinion but I think I had to consider my overall relationship with animal products. I am not vegan, I wouldn’t buy a fur coat but I do have a leather couch 🤷🏼♀️
Thanks so much! I do love how the F04 fits nicely into all my bronzers - I often find that tricky with my larger brushes. Nice, I’ll have to check out that Houkodou brush. Thanks for sharing those use cases!
Something about the way the large brushes are dyed makes them look sooo soft. Like little pillows. Thanks for the great demos! I was thinking the F-07 brush looked like the SG Detail brush, which I love for deepening the outer V. I tend to just place dark color in the smallest corner of my V, rather than blowing it out (with my heavy hood, that can look weird). I use the tip but also sweep it along its side and I like that shape more than pencil brushes for some reason. The tiny thin brush shape (like the F-08) could be good for inner corner highlight or applying more emollient (silicone rich) metallic shades to the inner lid? I would be more likely to sweep it like a regular shader brush than using it on its thin edge like a liner brush. I had just commented on Mariam A.’s video yesterday that I was looking for something like this when she showed a very thin small brush that she enjoys for the inner corner.
Thanks! If I had to choose one, I prefer the FO-4 since I struggle a lot more with bronzer patchiness than blush application (there are a lot of brushes that work well for me for blush). That said, I do think the FO-3 is better than the FO-4 if you only want to use it for blush.
I have the entire set. I tend to collect Fude as well as get brushed for daily use. This is in my collectibles section. I do use it occasionally but I try to limit the use. Also, I have been using lots of liquid and cream products so these are not suitable for this purpose
Nice, it’s such a lovely set! That makes sense - I didn’t used to like synthetic brushes at all, but recently I’ve found myself using them more due to all my liquid and cream products! What are your favorite brushes for liquids/creams?
Thanks for watching this video! What are your thoughts about the FO Series? :)
I love the big eye brush, it distributes the eyeshadow perfectly like a watercolor print!

Thanks so much for your kind comment! :) the FO3 and FO4 have been game changers for me!

Would love to see a video on your favorite blush brushes!! Do you prefer the C03 or C04? if you were to choose one brush?

Thank you so much! I don't have any fude brushes, and I was looking to buy my first one in Japan :) @@areteanbeauty
May I ask you in which physical stores in Japan one can find Chikuhodo FO-Series brushes. If you know of course?
@@patriciaquintela899 it’s called Hiroshima Brand Shop Tau in Tokyo’s Ginza district. :)
@@areteanbeauty thank you so much ❤️

Where can you get them in Japan? I have a friend going there next month and she said she can bring them to me.
I got them from a shop called Hiroshima brand shop TAU in Tokyo’s Ginza district. :)
