Considering you need pretty professional equipment and it does take some time it's cheaper to replace the entire motherboard or in this case of a pretty old laptop, the entire machine is worth like 60€ and the work you just did would probably cost 100€ at any service center..
Hello.. Very good video. Can i ask if its ok just to desolder all those onboard ram chips? What if there is no available schematic or boardview for a particular model? Like for what i have, Asus X412UB? I cant find an exact boardview or schematic for this one. Hope you can help me with this. Thank you😊

Or, better yet, just replace the memory chips that are bad :) Maybe even upgrade them to 8gb (if that's possible)

This laptop design is super bad, it would be easier just to have 1 stick of removable ram on single channel
