    This is the first realistic review of the Bluetti AC70 I have seen on RUclips.
    I live in Texas, USA and we get a lot of hurricanes in our area. I don't need to run my refrigerator for 4 hours because typically we lose electricity for days.
    What you have done here is shown just what is possible around the house during a power outage. I just bought one through Amazon Prime day. Perfect! This is what I need the unit for a fan, a small TV and all my personal devices as well as my neighbors. Good job. Thank you.

    • @Kaboomnz
      @Kaboomnz Месяц назад +1

      Get yourself a 12v TV, it'll draw much less power and more efficiently. We went without power for 12 days after a hurricane here in NZ, wish I had one of these units.

      Im really glad you enjoyed watching this test and review @markwalters1584 the only thing I didn't show enough of was the solar panels though. Which I can look at doing more videos of in future I'm sure. Thanks again Mark, happy powering mate👍👍

      I will need a trailer soon 100%, although hopefully, I will get myself back into a 4wd first. I miss my old patrol so much😉

    What an impressive little machine. Running all that stuff at a total of 230W output while the solar panels put in about 130W means your only drawing 100W at that time. Love to get my hands on a unit like that! A very detailed review also, cheers.

      Thanks so much for watching @Darren Norman I was seriously blown away by the capabilities this little Bluetti AC70 has. And matching it with th 200w solar panels works a treat as you seen in the video mate👌 A little brighter day and we would have been packing in the 200w no worries I reckon and running everything whilst charging back power into the unit.
      Even at 130w input and 230w output at max though...we still would be up and running for hours and hours🙌 So handy for that next camping trip or detecting adventure! Cheers heaps mate🤝⛏️🙂

    What a great review, Luke. I just started saving to buy my parents a generator... Mine died last power outage. Mum has a medical condition, where she has to maintain a consistent temperature and without the air-con ended up having to sleep surrounded by ice packs. Long story short. Thanks to your video, I'll now be saving for a Bluetti instead. Brilliant review, so informative. Thanks for taking the time to make this video

    Good morning Luke, Ive been checking out the bluetti but the larger setups, as I'm living off grid. But first I'd have to win tattslotto or Rob a bank, over 40yrs of tatts hasn't worked yet but I still keep trying, and I doubt I would get much use from a bluetti in lockup. But they do seem to be an excellent system that covers a great range of needs. Tattslotto tonight, fingers crossed! Good to see you on a Saturday morning, Cheers Mate!

      Good morning @wayne armstrong thanks so much for watching mate! These little Bluetti units are super impressive and I can really see the advantages and capabilities of having a setup like this for living off grid. Especially with the solar panels included to recharge extra storage batteries when needed.
      To be able to run all those accessories at once is just amazing🙌
      Great to see you on a Saturday morning Wayne and here's hoping that you have a winning ticket lined up for tonight's big draw to mate🤞 Have a great day🤝⛏️

      @@DigItDetecting Me too! Every Sunday morning, I live in hope of a good win, in hope of being able to purchase a few required items. And it's always, well maybe next week! I hate to waste any of your time Luke, but a question about researching bottles, I found the front of an embossed bottle yesterday and tried to research it to find out it's age, in the hope it might give me an idea as to when this spot was occupied, but all I get is eBay sights, no info there. It was a Lucknow bottle, that's all I know. Just a nudge in the right direction would help, if you have the time. Cheers!

    Gotta be a sparky to understand all the technical wattage, all I know if it’s flat charge it..
    if it can run my CPAP machine all night I’m sold,
    usually I take a generator out at camp my life depends on it.

      You sure do @MD MELBOURNE I have a little understanding on most things electrical, but as soon as it gets to technical... I'm confused😂 Mechanics are my forte, electrics are another field all together!
      A fantastic little unit to show off and pretty amazing at just how much it can run. Depending on watts and output of electrical item, the Bluetti AC70 with solar panel setup could run almost anything for a decent period of time. Or get you out of trouble when needed, I'm sure. A ripper little addition to have in the boot👌 Cheers heaps for watching mate🤝🙂⛏️

    I obtained a Bluetti AC70 and was counting on its Power Lifting claim to run my Ninja Foodie Digital Air Fry Oven (Model FT205CCO) on Camping trips.
    Sadly the AC70 did not power the Oven properly at all.
    While in Power Lifting mode (claimed to handle 2000 Watt Loads); the Bluetti turned on the Oven .... but nothing got cooked. :((
    I used a Kill-a-Watt meter to monitor the power while on House juice, and the Oven used cycled up to 1560 Watts. while cooking stuff.
    Connected to the Bluetti AC70 the Oven failed to cook anything; and the power reading didn't get much above 900 watts.
    Any ideas guys ???
    The Bluetti must seriously drop the voltage; and attempt to create an illusion of powering a 2000 Watt device.

    • @DigItDetecting
      @DigItDetecting  6 месяцев назад +1

      A great question @Smokeydk and one I would have to test out to answer 100% sorry mate. It will all depend on size of fridge and compressor output. Also how good the temperature control is and how often fridge needs to kick in and out providing power.
      I did see a review where a guy ran a 50l fridge for around 60 hours straight. Very impressive unit👌👌

    Thanks for posting the video. I don't think the angle grinder test would be accurate. You didn't use it long enough. I think a minimum of 5 minutes of use would be more accurate. And with 2 or 3 cutting disks new at full diameter would have loaded up the motor more too. I think it in reality it would do far less well the the estimated 90 minutes. Regardless I enjoyed your review. Thanks for doing it.
