    Sir please (Ansys Fluent) add a 1 complete video of Helical coil (tube in tube) heat exchanger to find all fluid properties like Reynolds number (Re), Nusselt number (Nu) to draw a graph 1. pressure drop vs Re
    2. heat transfer coefficients vs Re
    3.heat transfer coefficients Vs Diameter at different Re
    4.Nu vs Re
    5. Tube Specification
    a) Copper tube Outer dia. 25mm inner dia 23mm (Outer Tube)
    b) Steel-316 tube Dia 6mm (Inner Tube)
    c) Length 3.5 m before coiling
    d) number of turn 5
    e) Re varies 350 to 6500

    Hello,
    nice video;) helpful for beginners like me!
    if possible, I would like to ask you two questions:
    - is it possible to make a 3d sweep? I mean the curve for the sweep can be not only in one plane but be included in two planes? (I am trying to draw an handlebar for bicycle and I am figuring out how to make the dropped part: I think I could try to use a 3d spept if possible, or use a loft with different sections, or sweep the horizontal part and then revolve a section(but this way will be not nice I think))
    - which program do you use for the videos?
    Fabio

    • @ansys_cfd
      @ansys_cfd  8 лет назад +2

      +Fabio Malizia hi my friend; Design modeler use 2d sweep; but there may be other tools to build your model, Do you have some image?
      Regards

    • @malix5
      @malix5 8 лет назад +2

      +CFD.NINJA ANSYS
      At the end I used 1 extrude for the handlebar, and two sweep for the junction and the dropped part (for the last part I could also use the revolve function).
      Maybe it could be done better but for the moment is ok... now I hope I can manage to make the meshXD
      If you have any suggestion are really welcomed;) thanks a lot for all your videos!
      Fabio

    • @ansys_cfd
      @ansys_cfd  6 лет назад +2

      Hi my friend; in that case, you should complete the number, for example, tan4 = 0.06992, DesignModeler recognize the numeric value. Regards

      CFD.NINJA ANSYS i don't have one actually i am planning to design a fuel cell's geometric design on that

    • @ansys_cfd
      @ansys_cfd  7 лет назад +2

      Hy my friend,
      Sketchup build the geometry using surfaces and ANSYS need solid, Directly isn't possible I recommend use Inventor, Solidworks, SpaceClaim or Catia.

    what does "always close the geometry" mean?

    • @ansys_cfd
      @ansys_cfd  4 года назад +1

      Hi friend;
      That refers to the creation of lines before generating the solid, if those 2D figures are not closed, you cannot extrude them or create a 3D solid.

    • @Malembee1
      @Malembee1 7 лет назад

      Yeah, and your DM tutorials videos are very useful. I learned in your videos how to imprint and project bodies... but last year i tried spaceclaim and since then i never returned to DM because it's very easy to use and fast. it can almost do whatever you want without bothering you with features

    • @ansys_cfd
      @ansys_cfd  7 лет назад +1

      Hi my friend; Well Spaceclaim is a powerfull software, for this reason now ANSYS has DM and Spaceclaim.
      I hope that in the future Spaceclaim will develop parameterization with programming (VBnet or other) to reach the level of Autodesk Inventor. However, the license cost of spaceclaim versus DM has to be assessed. Regards
