What a great story about an extraordinary man. Ronaldo's transformation of his 2007 Ducati 1098 is just breathtaking. He couldn't have picked a better channel than Racer TV to find another Ducati to inspire his creativity in the choices he made in designing this café racer. Using his mother's handwriting on the bike certainly personalizes it to just one person in this world. Once again, a wonderful video.

A combination that can kill any project if it is not balanced with love. Here that balance is supreme and produces a need to keep looking at the details at all, the perfect framework to locate an engine that simply deserves the best. One guy (Proust) got off on the smell of a few crumbs of madeleine dipped in a spoonful of tea; for others it's the smell of gasoline. Thank you, Racer, for reminding us of the gasoline that, once smelled, is never forgotten.
Let's face it, there are basicaly two types of riders. Weekend warriors, and thise who have riding in their blood. Renaldo has riding in his D.N.A. This Ducati is absolutely beautiful, and the attention to detail is not lost. I hope that he never loses his passion. I began riding at age 5, and have never stopped! That is until my spinal injury which had nothing to do with riding motorcycles. His dedication to this project is rarely seen, as he did not build this bike to gain attention. He built it for himself alone. Such a beautiful bike built by a man with litteraly nothing to start with...

Ducati oil cooled l twins with that trellis frame and those exposed dry clutches r the most beautiful machines and they r the perfect material for the custom bike builders !!! Build a cafe racer or build a board track racer and it will blow u away !!😍😍

I'm a bit torn on this one! The 1098 and the 916 are the only two Ducati's that I like as they are, but the builder did a superb job at recreating a beauty.
I must hold my hands up ... I'm not a Ducati fan ... as a rule, HOWEVER, THAT is a lovely bike!! The thing, as an English man that "tickled me" and made me smile was he's wearing a Barry Sheene Replica helmet!!! 😆🤩😀

Acredito que essa moto é uma franca favorita ao título do top 10 desse ano: de forma geral ela beira a perfeição, por todos os atributos já mencionados no vídeo. Numa comparação direta dessa moto com a Ducati Monster S4 de oito anos atrás, esta é realmente mais coesa, suas linhas e geometria são melhores resolvidas e ainda possui um item que aprecio bastante e que a outra não tem, que são os escapes. Mas posso surpreende-lo ao dizer que ainda prefiro a Monster S4: o que vi de imediato nesta e que preferi na outra, foram as rodas, balança traseira e até a rabeta: as da Monster são mais estilosas e impressionantes. Outra coisa que notei nesta Ducati foram os parafusos vermelhos combinando com as rodinhas vermelhas distribuídas pela moto, é muita bolinha vermelha e achei isso pomposo mais do que o necessário pra uma cafe racer street fighter.. 😄 E quanto a Monster, apesar da falta de escape, da geometria e encaixe das linhas não tão acertados, da cor do incomum do quadro e etc.. ela possui entre eixos mais longos, um porte mais imponente e um visual geral mais exuberante. Isso de forma alguma desmerece essa lindíssima Ducati, como eu disse, ela é uma possível top 3 desse ano.. fiz esse comentário apenas porque houve a comparação no vídeo e, mesmo assim, é uma briga de "cachorro grande" por que ambas tem pontos que se sobressaem à outra.. além do que, sempre há o gosto pessoal né.. Saliento apenas um detalhe que não falei no video por não ter a certeza, mas fiquei com a sensação de que o depósito de gasolina no projecto da Monster S4, não será o da Sport Classic GT. Existem algumas diferenças muito ténues, principalmente na parte junto do guidão. Obrigado amigo por partilhar a sua sempre interessante opinião. :) Um grande abraço.
I agree with you "almost" 100% "but" on the top speed, top speed of a 1098 is 280.8 km/h and honestly I don't think you can get a lot more out off that V2 engine without expending a ton of money (I know he already did) but if at the end it will cost more than a Panigale, I'll go for the Panigale ( mi opinion), cheers Victor!!😅
Hello Carlos. According to Ronaldo, the top speed is even slightly higher than 300 km/h. I believe he also changed the RPM limiter, and the rear tire has probably a higher profile. Hello Carlos. According to Ronaldo, the top speed is even slightly higher than 300 km/h. I believe he also changed the RPM limiter, and the rear tire has probably a higher profile. These might be small changes, but they might be enough to earn some extra top speed. But thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
