Dang, I did not notice. There are so many details in this concert. I spent over an hour recording just this one from all the angels, and every round I saw more and more little details that added to the show. Its impressive how much time and effort must have gone into this.

2015 fan here, got Splatoon 1 a week after it came out. I would have never expected to see Callie and Marie like this, nor did I think there was even gonna be a Splatoon 2! This was such a cool way for them to end the third in the series 😢❤
I've been playing Splatoon since 2015 and the Grand Festival made me cry. The songs, especially this one, as well as seeing all idols, even the ones from the older games perform here just made me feel nostalgic and happy. It brought back so many happy memories that I had when playing the games back then. And even though I'm not playing Splatoon 3 as much as I used to play Splatoon 1 and 2 anymore, I still love the series and cherish all memories that I made while playing the games❤
Man, this splatfest really feels like a celebration of the series so far. It makes me sad that I'm just not as invested in splatoon anymore, but I had to join in for the final splatfest to rep off the hook lmao. I realized that even though i've grown out of the phase of my life where I was obsessed, I'm always going to look back with nostalgia. And seeing all of them on stage together got me, a grown ass man now, a little teary eyed. Man, I wish I could go back to the days when I was able to binge this game for hours a day. It doesn't help that the switch era is going to be ending soon. Its almost like one last hurrah before we move on.
Yea same from a player on the wiiu splatoon, although i only got it in 2018 I feel like I moved on. Even when I got splatoon 3 a year ago on a switch I bought. I hope the switch 2 and maybe splat 4 can reignite my love for the series. I love these games so much and wouldn’t mind going back into them even if I am going into my adult life after school haha
I didn't notice it before this splatfest, but for me it's really all down to the online experience for me. It's much improved from previous games, but still if you're not playing in a squad you either have to keep going with the randoms from last match (unless they disconnect and you get a "communication error") or you have to stop queuing and then go back in and start queuing again. That also combined with getting put up against an obvious 4 stack squad when you're solo queuing. The online experience is just very lacking if you're not in a squad. I love playing the game especially when I have a squad, but unlike other similar games I struggle to sit down and play it alone. Anyways hopefully they'll fix this for Splatoon 4. I can't wait to see everyone again. Hopefully in much higher fidelity
@@TheDuzx likely it'll stay that way. Squad matchmaking can br the best in the damn world, but your solo queues are gonna be straight ass. That's how it is in any game. My suggestion; Find a gaming squad or some new friends to squad with.

I've been playing this game since the Splatoon 1 Demo on Wii U, from being a bunch of people experimenting with the mechanics in Saltspray Rig to becoming Tier X players and seeing how the game and the Lore just keeps growing is incredible. The first Rock vs Pop Splatfest to the Splatfest festivals to this incredible concert is something phenomenal. The emotion that filled me watching this whole festival is indescribable. Even though I vote for the present, the future of Splatoon is bright. If Calamari Inkantation fills you with joy, this song fills me with melancholy, gratitude and happiness. This old lady just wants to keep living to see the next installment of this game.
This grand splatfest has made me so emotional, Im a late player. Joined in Splatoon 3 earlier this year; got a good taste of the splatfests, turf wars and salmon run etc since then as well as the main story! Been wanting to get into it for ages; and my friends convinced me to get it since they all play it. It means so much to me to play with them and play this final grand splatfest alongside em; it makes me so emotional for some reason hahaha! I'll have so many good memories from platoon 3 because of this :') The idols all coming together and performing as one feels so awesome; im so happy I decided to get into this game.

Man, this stings me right in the heart, but what a sendoff to the fans for staying with our favorite squid kids all the way to the end. Depending on how long Nintendo keeps the Switch going with multiplayer for Splatoon 2 and 3, at least we can still enjoy some Turf War before they shut down online services and Splatoon 2 and 3 join Splatoon 1 in the history books as Nintendo looks to the future with the series and its popularity.
Regardless there will be' other games in future, this IS the sendoff of the series for me personally. I'm gonna quit gaming very soon (like... in less than two months), so I won't play future games of this series. Even thought there will surely more entries in the future, for me personally this is the final goodbye to the series... and I couldn't ask anything better for it.

I like to think of this as the trilogy’s end. Next game will probably move away from these idols completely and start from square one with new ones starting the new era. Ofc we will probably at least see Deep cut again so they can have their moment to shine in a dlc.
I know they won't miss an opportunity to design new mascots, but I think it would be cool if they used a pre-existing group like Squid Squad or Chirpy Chips.

(if you don't have any, I recommend buying nfc tags because they are really cheap compare to amiibos). You can also choose the time for the performance you want, evening, night, or dawn. These videos are amazing, but why not experience the grand fest atmosphere again if you want to! I been here since 2017-18 and this broke me from being more into splatoon BECAUSE of the music specifically callie and marie and then pearl and marina. This was the bestest finallee ever and I am so glad this is what I experienced these past 7-6 years. Thank you everyone involved with Splatoon you truly changed my life for the better :oD
Even though I’ve been through all three games all along, I’ve pretty much never played in a splatfest. This was my first and last splat fest and I had so much fun, I’ll never forget it. I really can’t describe the joy of emoting with the crowd of jellyfish while watching them sing. Their songs send literal shivers down my spine of how much I enjoyed it and created so many memories there. Btw if you have any of the idol amiibos, you can travel back to the night of the grand festival for a bit. Love the squid sisters❤️
I liked to move the camera all the way to the back, zoom the FOV all the way out, and tilt up slightly so that you can see all the screens, lights, and fireworks all at once. I wish I had the hardware to record it myself

i'm guessing splatoon 4 will be announced alongside whatever the switch 2 will be but to end off splatoon 3? this was amazing it really did feel like a grand festival i loved following my fav group between the 3 stages and then having all three groups perform a huge song at the end like that at the end? it's beautiful i've been a fan of the series since the start. while i did own a lot of good games for the wii-u splatoon 1 WAS my wii-u (i literally got the version that came with the game) and it was so much fun and then when splatoon 2 came out? i was playing it non stop for months i didn't play 3 as much but i've played it so much this past week and wow am i splatooned out in all the best ways final rank: Past Ruler+2
Honestly really great time just very creative setting for a final Splatfest. I play now and then been a few months but I came out for this still a nostalgic fan maybe not super hardcore but Splatoon is definitely on my game list thanks Nintendo and everyone for playing!

I'm so happy to have been part of this community ever since Splatoon 1 and I will always keep the memories I made playing this game in my heart, as well as the memories of the Grand Festival.
