Nice review , do you know if there is anyway to make the top where the clock and temperature is larger in size? Like a zoom feature, for those of us who don’t see as well.
I don't think there is a way to do that on the radio. Can you add a widget for time and temperature to the home screen? I don't remember that being an option. Aside from the radio, you can change your driver display area to show the time and temp. Do you know how to do that?
Here is a video showing how you can have the time and temperature show in the driver display. ruclips.net/video/S26UlJBVKnw/видео.html I'm not sure if you have a Pacifica or a Durango, but the process would be the same. The screen will look different on a Durango, and the customizable corners are found in the top corners of the display instead of the bottom corners.
Go to the screen that is shown about 30 seconds into the video. It's where I'm showing that you can edit profiles. Just above the row labeled Edit Name: Driver 1, there is a tab labeled "All Profiles." Click on that tab. The screen should show the driver 1 profile with an "Add New" button next to it.
@@prestonflanikensellscars9640 I am having the same issue. I do not have an “add new” button. And I didn’t see one next to your avatar in the video either. However I know there is supposed to be one. What am I missing.
I've read that the missing Add Profile button is a "known issue" that will be addressed in the next radio update. No idea what that timeframe is though.
@@prestonflanikensellscars9640 Thanks. I’m actually planning on getting the 2022 Dodge Charger RT that will have the new U Connect 5. I test drove the 2021 and I wasn’t impressed with the clarity of the current U Connect 4 back up camera.
We have a new 2022 Grand Cherokee Overland L with the 10.0 inch screen. I cannot get my Apple I Pod to connect so we can play the stored music on it. Our old Acadia would connect EITHER bluetooth or USB. I liked USB because it would keep the battery charged and our playlists would show up on the screen. So far I have not figured out how to connect the I Pod to this new Overland L. Any help would be appreciated.
I had to do some digging on this, and I'm not sure how much this will help....In the radio supplement for the owner's manual (it's on page 52 of the online version) there is a note that says, "Vehicle USB ports support FAT16/32 and NTFS USB devices. FAT/FAT8 USB devices are not supported."
@@prestonflanikensellscars9640 I went into my I pod and found that the files in it are Fat 32. 14.7 GB size with 7.9 GB used. Went to a dealer today. I say dealer because we drove 550 miles to buy this model that we could not find or order in Indianapolis. At the dealer, one of their more tech salesmen came out and tried to connect the I Pod. After waiting about 5 minutes during the "connecting" process, he told me to get a new I Pod. This I pod worked connected USB and/or Bluetooth in our 2014 GMC Acadia last month before we traded it, so I don't think there is anything wrong with the I Pod. I am trying very hard to work with the Radio Instruction Manual, but again, if you have any ideas, I would appreciate it. I tried the link you added to your second response, but I could not get it to open. Caption was, Not Available.
+LAS VEGAS I believe that I'm in RUN mode. My logo is in the way, but when I watch the video on a computer monitor, I can see the RUN lit up at around the 4:28 mark (give or take a few seconds.)
Great video…I own a 2021 Dodge Durango Citadel. I love UCONNECT and this was very educational. Thanks!
Thank you. I’m glad to have helped.
Very informative. Thank you.

I hope the back up camera clarity is better than u connect 4!!! Let’s see

Which iPod is it? Start by checking your ipod for any software updates.
Have you attempted to pair any other Bluetooth devices to the radio?
Also, the link should be working now. Just shows you how you can listen to music from a flash drive instead of buying s new iPod.
You didn’t show us the backup camera.
He meant Back-Camera, NOT Back-Up-Camera.
Question: did you have the car in ACC or RUN MODE when setting widgets.

@@prestonflanikensellscars9640 Awesome thx 😎👍🏽
My pleasure.
show the Uconnect 5 on the 12" display of the 2022 RAM please
When we get one, I'll be happy to do that but I don't expect to see one on our lot until at least September. We are still waiting on a bunch on 21s.
How do you upgrade from previous UConnect to this version?
Unfortunately, it’s not just a software update. So you’ll have to buy a compatible aftermarket radio or buy a new vehicle with the radio. 🤔
@@prestonflanikensellscars9640it is a software update, only your car-brand-dealer knows how to install it.
