Your videos have been invaluable and I’ve even grown to love physics because of them. Thank you so much for helping so, so many people as me and all my friends really appreciate it.
Same here. Before I started using this channel to learn science, I was completely daft on physics, I didn't understand a single thing, he teaches it in such a straightforward and informative way. Now physics paper 2 is my favourite paper. Good luck on the exams, 22 days left.
Biology paper 2 today funny how even after 5 years there still isn’t a better RUclipsr than free science lessons 🙏🏾 my saving grace. Good luck everyone.
It’s the 2nd and last biology exam tomorrow, and the only reason I’ve made it quite this far is because of you, Sir. I thank you, and I’m sure many others do too. If I pass, it’s all on you. :)
Sir, is it possibe if you could do a video on how answer the 6 mark practical questions for the 9-1 syllabus. My teacher says you have to include the method, risk assessment, apparatus and the independent, dependant, controlled variables in a coherent fashion, except I have no idea how to do that. If possible a video on it would be much appreciated :)
was not a good idea to watch this video just before bReKKie that heart gif has disturbed my mind and endocrine system and every other system in my body.
Hi Sir, is homeostasis the overarching idea that the internal conditions of the body need to keep constant. However, negative feedback are those hormonal changes inside homeostasis?
Adrenaline is a very short term acting hormone that is released and then inactivated very rapidly. Negative feedback tends to be for longer acting hormones.
for example what he said earlier in the video about how, in order to maintain a normal level of thyroxine in the blood, by (if there is not enough thyroxine in the blood), the pituitary gland releasing TSH hormone into the bloodstream, which triggers the thyroid gland to release more thyroxine into the blood (this is an event)

thank you so much this is so much easier to understand than the bs confusing diagram we got
I love this guy man. Always plugging me with information for my upcoming mocks. When’s your revision book coming out by the way ?

Hi Sir, is homeostasis the overarching idea that the internal conditions of the body need to keep constant. However, negative feedback are those hormonal changes inside homeostasis?
You are correct on homeostasis. Negative feedback is the idea that if a change occurs, then a system acts to reverse that change.

hi sir how many videos left until you’ve covered everything we need for biology (double science)?
in combined science is there a section in this topic on cooling down and warming up?

Why is it important that adrenaline does not use a negative feedback loop?
Adrenaline is a very short term acting hormone that is released and then inactivated very rapidly. Negative feedback tends to be for longer acting hormones.
Good vid, Sir
Hi sir do we need to learn the reactivity series for chemistry triple aqa
No you don't need to learn that.
is this topic going to be assessed tmr
sir what is the definition of a feed back system?
2:44 what do you mean by events? Could you give me an example to give me a better understanding?
for example what he said earlier in the video about how, in order to maintain a normal level of thyroxine in the blood, by (if there is not enough thyroxine in the blood), the pituitary gland releasing TSH hormone into the bloodstream, which triggers the thyroid gland to release more thyroxine into the blood (this is an event)

When you say higher tier does this exclude TRIPLE FOUNDATION?

Clicked so quick to get angry st the negative feedback ppl but then ..😂😂
anyone bio tmw?
YESSSSS SHAUN IS GONNA GET ME A 6
what is the difference between negative feedback and homeostasis?? they seem to be the same thing to me ://
Homeostasis is keeping internal conditions constant. Negative feedback is the mechanism by which that happens.
give me an introduction about you sir'
Do you use the AQA specification?
Yes all my videos are based on the AQA spec.
Could anyone give me a definition for negative feedback
gcse today!
What do you mean @1:14 when you say fight or run away?
its fight or flight, so basically adrenaline psychologically prepares the body to either resist a threatening situation or run away from it
whos watching this because of school
Someone give me a definition of negative feedback please
When a factor changes from its baseline (normal) level, a system brings that factor back to its baseline level.
