Love your intro to this post. I bought a similar emulation product that play 50,000 games of course you cant play all these games in a life time unless your just the the epitome of retro game playing. But what memories. The product I have has a add to favorites page which makes it all to my convenience when I am ready to play one of my favorite games.
The wonderswan is actually pretty interesting. A console that was made by Gunpei Yokoi. He created the GameBoy, Game and Watch and The Virtual Boy. He made the Wonderswan after the Virtual Boy failed and Nintendo ousted him out. It was really popular in Japan.

I got one, I plugged it in and immediately noticed artifacts on every game so I swapped memory cards with my Arcade Box and now it works great.
That sucks! glad ya were able to get it working! starting to see a few issues in the comments. I really hope that a majority of the games work though for most people. It's such a long wait to get the super console x cube it would be such a let down for it to not work.
I would highly recommend backing up the sd card and maybe replacing with another. Their sd cards are rather generic and may fail.
Also be sure to shutdown the system through the menus and press the button to off when it has completely shutdown. This prevents the system from losing box art, game descriptons etc.

Got my self a Super console X Max Plus and I was lucky enough it came with a actual San disk ... Still backed everything up though on HDD

I was thinking of getting the King but since I was mostly interested in the 8 and 16 bit games I figured the cube was good enough and much cheaper. Just got the 64GB version as the bigger sizes only added more games that are for later systems anyway. Glad to see you managed to turn off the bezels as another video showed the option doing nothing and the bezels remaining. I will back up the card as well.
Good review. thanks. I saw another review mention that the device will support keyboard and mouse input via the USB - I used to play a lot of Amiga games back in the day, and this was the default input method for that system.
I can't verify this at the moment though, as my console hasn't arrived from China yet :)
It took quite awhile for mine to arrive too. I'm having a blast playing Alien v Predator!
I'll have to give that a go :) I'm going to probably be putting a lot of my old games on there myself - Being an ancient Brit, I grew up with the Sinclair Spectrum followed by the Amiga systems, then the PS1. So Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog largely passed me by. Being able to play them all on emulation is just so cool.
@@chrishine2717 Funny you mention that you skipped a few consoles. I too, missed out on the xbox 360 and Ps2 era...I'm kinda shocked I never got a 360 or Ps2. I think back and I was just so busy during that time in my life I just didn't play that many video games. Thankfully through emulation I can enjoy them now!! I remember when I was a teen playing Sonic CD on the Sega CD for the first time and was blown away at how good it was!! love Sonic!!
@@corporaldonut7917 Both Mario and Sonic were big around the time of the Amiga as I recall. If you can, check out 'The Addams Family' and 'Superfrog' on that system, a Mario and Sonic clone respectively that I wasted hours on back then, and will probably waste a few more on once my console thing arrives :) (It says March 17 on the website, so fingers crossed)
@@chrishine2717 fingers crossed! which controller did you go with? I'll check out the Amiga for sure! I've been thinking of doing a stream while playing the Super Console X cube. There's soooooo many games on it lol. Wonder if anyone has ever verified if there really is 50k games on it! lol
bought updated one with a 1000 more games. This console blows Pandora Box out of the sky!
Bought it last year.. Haven't gotten around to replace the SD card yet so I can upgrade it and put Amiga on there.
I am usually not into these cheap Chinese systems. But good review and cool video man!👍

I got one. Most of the n64 games don’t work. None. Some Dreamcast games were buggy. But everything else was fine
unfortunately the N64 is notorious for being difficult to emulate. Some games work well but say perfect dark or 007 probably won't work well.

Error code blue screen. Press A a few times and it takes you back to the menu. Press select and then change the emulator until you find the one that works.
I have that system and it is great . Yes some games have flaws. But for the price of an original Snes Wild guns game you can get 2 of those and 1000s of games .
exactly! I had two soft modded OG xbox consoles and some games worked on one and not the other. But the majority of the games on the console x cube work just fine for sure!
Agreed. Maybe 25 to 30% of the games may have issues. But out of 50k and for the price, I believe it's worth it.

I have a very good gaming pc, and i was wondering if i could possibly load the emulators with it by putting the sd card in it for better performance

I bought one of these and the save feature doesn't work on the games... or it will allow me to save, work for a day and then lose the save file so that I can't continue after shutting it off
Does yours allow you to save, turn off and come back to play later?
yes mine allows me to save just fine. Are you turning it off at the button or shutting it down by choosing shut down in the options? just wondering if that might be the issue
How do you change the language to English in the Turbografx 16's Double Dungeons on the Super Console X Cube? Already set language to English in Console settings, but won't change in the game itself.
So far I've been unable to find a solution. I'll try to find one. At the moment It's not looking promising though...I'm betting we both will need to download the US version of the game...

it took a long time to get mine as well. I checked online and it seemed to be stuck in customs for a week or so...hopefully you get yours soon!!

The controls on some of my Dreamcast games don't work correctly. Anyone else have this problem with the X Cube?
probably similar to the issues I was running into with the N64 games. What kind of controller are you using? you can more than likely button map in the settings or I would think using a PS controller would solve it since it has two thumb sticks. I ran into that issue a few times especially with the older PC games.

yes, only the start button and the a button work in Ikaruga, and I remapped and it did nothing

What exactly is your question? I'm not understanding. If you want more you need to follow the pamphlet to get more. The console can hold up to 50k games but does not come with that many.
Get a Super console X Max Plus way better performing Or swap this to a Mini PC
I didn't know about the other consoles when I got this one. I was waiting for a comment like this lol. You are 100% right!! I definitely should get the mini PC!! maybe in the future I'll get it and do a future video!!

My super console x cube keeps freezing up mid playing the games anyone know how to fix it if they went through the same problems?
too bad a few thousand of the "games" are computer files that don't lead to actual games, and half the computer games need peripherals that don't work with the system
Yeah that and the turbografx games need translation...I'll have to download the US version of a few games. I wasn't aware of that issue ahead of time...grrrrrrrr....lol

It is a bit hit and miss on some of the games. But any games? If you ordered through Aliexpress they're pretty good with refunds or replacements. Just be sure to contact them.

you can remap the controllers in the settings. I had to do that with a few games.
Too bad most games don't have sound.

It only has the initial retro games and arcade games. There are no wii/wii u games on it. it doesn't actually come with 50k games as well. You will have to download the games from emulation websites transferring them onto the console's SD card. There is a pamphlet that comes with the console X cube explaining how to do this. If you want to emulate wii/wii U go to the Dolphin emulator website and get them there.

Input Lag !!!! All ... Emuelec , Batocera or Retropie, you lose performance when playing and don't realize how much input lag acts to make you play poorly.
yeah pretty much all emulation will have some lag. The arcade 1-up I bought has some pretty bad lag..It makes it tough to play street fighter on.
