I think, editing is done on the mix down and a ¼" tape.

I made full montage that way, many loops and edits along the way. Back in the early '80s.

Nice video. Im 66 and made these edits a lot through my life. But one difference I have seen is the lack of degausing the razor blade before editing. I was taught to do that over 45 years ago. Does this old school guy still believe in this? Darn right, I do.
