This year I turned 61, and watching your video made me remember when I used to walk to school to save my fares and buy Beatles records, I'm so glad to see that the new generations are keeping Beatles' music alive... an affectionate hug from Taiwan. ✌️Peace and love🌻
@@katiegl Actually I take it back! only in one of your songs out of the 3 I watched the guitar is louder than your voice! hearing them with earphones cleared the sound for me. Thanks for a great job!
I'm an old man,I've been collecting vinyl for 46 years. Back in the day it was almost exclusively guys who collected records. I'm so glad to see that times have changed. It's nice to see too that you take a lot of pride in your collection.
@@katiegl: Nope, Taylor sounds better on vinyl as the records aren't cut with the same over-loud, brick walled sound that CDs can have - although her CDs aren't cut too hot either! 😉 I have quite a few.... as I still listen to, and enjoy pop music to this day even though I'm getting on a bit!! 😂 You have a very fine collection of Beatles LPs, and it's fantastic that today, young people such as yourself are still getting into the Fab Four - I fell in love with their sound from hearing them on the radio constantly when I was a very young child back in the '60s, and have loved, and collected the records/CDs ever since! I hope you continue to love them for the rest of your life too.... 😊
Very nice collection! I've been collecting for almost 50 years and I must say I still love the thrill of the hunt. My main goal now is to collect all of the UK first pressings. Good luck with your collecting.
Nice Collection Young Lady. I have been. a fan since 1963, and it really is wonderful to find young people falling in love with The Beatles as I did 60 years ago 😀👍
Hi Katie. You have an amazing Beatles collection. I was 7 when my siblings and I first saw The Beatles in 1964. My brother and I would literally save our pennies to buy our Beatles albums. We eventually bought all the albums, then went on the their solo years. I still have every album we bought, and still play them. Thank you for this video, and keep loving Beatles music.
Aww, that is so sweet! I can only imagine the many fond memories you must have of buying them and listening to them for the first time! Thank you so much, you’re very kind! :-)
You should be proud of your collection. I recently sold a lot of my Beatles albums to a local rare record store, to give others a chance to enjoy these prizes. What's amazing about The Beatles is I grew up with them, and love their music just as much now as I did back then. You will probably be cherishing your records for the rest of your life, and I hope they bring you as much pleasure as mine meant to me. If any of your friends think there's something wrong with you, know in your heart that it's your friends there's something wrong with! LOL! If you truly love music, you can't NOT love The Beatles.
Aww, what a sweet comment! You seem extremely kind, my friend-thank you so much! :-) And I agree, if you truly love music you can’t not love the Beatles! They’re the epitome of what every young musician aspires to be. They were (and are!) something magical, that’s for sure. 😊
keep up with more videos. I got into the Beatles when I was 4 years old. Then when I was 10, and for the rest of my life I get away from them for a few years then get back into them like it was the first time. Kind of like falling in love over and over. They really are the best band that there ever was.
I’ll definitely do so, thanks for watching! :-) I agree, they are the best band that’s ever been. There’s a magic about them that I’ve yet to discover with other bands, as good as they may be.
Hi Katie you have a fab vinyl collection I can see that you have a lot American releases of Beatles records which we don’t see many of in the UK. The first Beatles album I ever got was the Beatles red album a great introduction to the Beatles, I can see you had the Beatles #1 album which would also be a good introduction. I collect the Beatles vinyl as much as I can I’ve just purchased a 12 inch vinyl of the new single Now and Then and I am awaiting delivery this week of the new remixed red and blue albums. Keep collecting 😊👏👏
Aww, thank you so much for such a great comment! :-D I hope your copy of Now and Then will come soon enough for you! And thanks for watching, my friend! 😊
Ir's very nice to see someone as young as you are with so much pride of your great record collection. It reminds of the times when I was younger myself, coming back home with a great smile on my face carrying one or more records newly acquired. Keep'em coming!
This was definitely NOT cringey at all! 😉 It was so great of you to show us your Beates album collection! 😃 I only have the Red Album on CD, which has their early hits from 1962-1966. 🙂
Nice backhanded compliment. Hey, you're definitely not cringey! What is that? I don't get why the word cringey would even be in your head. Why would a person showing a very interesting recording collection be anything cringeworthy?
@@alanduncan1980Haha, thank you very much for being a gentleman! However, I believe Miss Amanda was referring to something I wrote in my description about how I hoped I wasn’t cringey because this was my first video. It seems she’s assuring me that that wasn’t so. I do really appreciate your kindness, though! Thank you! 😊
That was great! Much better than what I could’ve done! It was cool to see the album where their music was set to classical music! I didn’t even know such a thing existed!
Aw, thank you very much! I know you could have done better, though; I’m so awkward that it hurts me to watch. 😂 Yeah, I’m sure you could look it up and listen to it! It’s very good! :-D
Enjoyed this video very much, The Beatles are my favorite group, I love the way they changed and grew musically over such a very short time span. What ever mood you are in, you have the early sound, the rubber soul and revolver era, the Sgt Pepper and later era. All their albums have there unique identity. I could chat non-stop about the Beatles, Paul McCartney, (which is my favorite also, who's albums changed thru-out the years too)and song writing. Another Thumbs up for another good video.
Woooow!! What a wonderful collection of the Fab Four! I have all their albums but all on CD format, specifically the 2009 editions (the 13 albums + Past Masters), some of the old 1987 early CD versions, the "Live At BBC" albums and the new editions of "Pepper", "The White Album", "Abbey Road" and "Live At The Hollywood Bowl", but as I said, all on CDs; I want to buy the new "Red" and "Blue" albums editions soon!!
Aww, thank you so much! :-) It sounds like you have a really great collection going! Very nice! 👍 And I’m with you-the red and blue albums would be great to find at some point! So many great songs on them. All the best to you, my friend! 😊
@@katiegl it's strange, but I have NO compilation albums (greatest hits ones) of The Beatles; NONE!! I've started from "Please Please Me" and only bought the original UK albums, BBC and Past Masters; I DON'T have the "1", "Red & Blue", "US editions", "Love", "Let It Be Naked" and "Anthologies"
@@cobrabravaThat’s okay, though! It gives you something to look for-that’s always fun! :-D But I’m with you, I don’t have a whole lot of compilation albums either for some reason, haha.
It's worth hunting down the eight l.p box set 'From Liverpool' which looks like a packing crate as that has some unique mixes.Nice relaxing video by the way.
You've already got quite the collection! That's really cool. If you ever decide to acquire the material they did with Tony Sheridan - there's plenty of releases to do so. My two favorites are "Les Perruques" (The Wigs) 10" French Polydor and "Very Together" Canadian Polydor. The latter has a neat Paul is Dead Clue. The cover shows 4 candles. 3 lit and one just blown out. Also, Japanese Odeon versions of their albums were done in red wax! Happy Collecting! 😃
Aw, thank you so much! 😊 And thank you as well for the recommendations-I had no idea about them! I’m a fan of the Paul is Dead theory (although I don’t believe it), so anything connected with it definitely interests me, haha. I hope you have a great rest of your day! :-)
@@katiegl You're welcome!! Beatles vinyl is one of my passions, so it's exciting to share tidbits with others. Haha yep! I remember you discussing that going through your magazine on the subject - which I don't own, btw 🤨 Thank you! You as well! 😁
Great collection you have there! I just picked up Rock and Roll Music a couple weeks ago at a record show to replace my old worn out copy. That is the record that started my Beatles journey back in 1976 when I was just 8. My older cousin loved the Beatles so I was familiar with them and he bought RARM for me. That record is very nostalgic for me. Great video too!
Your comment about the 1 record reminded me that I had an opportunity to work in a record store a few years ago and the best part of the job was assisting young people getting into music for the first time. The store had a used copy of the 1 compilation on vinyl with all of the inserts, which I recommended to a young person that was interested in getting into the band. I never saw the person again, but I like to think the 1 record opened up the world for them. I tried to preach the holy gospel of the Byrds as well but had less takers. I grew up in a small town with no indie record stores, and I first got into music just before the internet became commonplace. Discovering music outside of what was normally on radio and television wasn't easy. My father was primarily into jazz and easy listening from the 40s and 50s (my mother was a 50s kid, but her family didn't have a lot of dough so she didn't amass much of a record collection), but he did own a copy of the Blue album. It definitely stood out among the Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller and the Mills Brothers records that made up the rest of his record collection. Needless to say, after one listen to the Blue album, that record became a permanent resident of my room (and I still have it, despite it being virtually unplayable at this point). And being it was the CD age, I didn't add another vinyl record to my music collection for many years (pretty sure the second vinyl I added to my collection was a Hendrix compilation named Kiss the Sky (I wish I still had that one, just for the cool cover art). When I think of how cheap vinyl was in the 90s and early 2000s, it pains me that I didn't buy more at the time.
Aw, thank you so much for telling me a bit of your musical story! I absolutely love hearing about how other people got introduced and/or introduced others to the music that ends up being the soundtrack to your life or their lives. It’s such a magical thing, isn’t it? I’m so thankful to get to tap into some of that magic, and it’s always so exciting to wonder what music we’ll discover next! Thanks so much, my friend! :-)
Thank you so much, and welcome to the fandom that is Beatlemania! 😄 I’m sure you will have an even better collection one day, and honestly the best part is searching for them! You never know where they might turn up!
Glad to see young people appreciate The Beatles. I have a whole entire room FULL of original albums, collectibles, some British released albums but ALL U.S. releases, 48's and so much more. ❤ not to mention books, magazines, CD'S, movies... oh my. Too much to list

"The greatest love affair of the 20th Century" is a phrase often used to describe the ongoing love for The Beatles. In my opinion, the love affair between The Beatles and their female fans is the seed of this ongoing love. Girl fans drove The Beatles to the "toppermost of the poppermost." And The Beatles were appreciative. They expressed a lot of joy for the female in their performances and wrote songs that really tell it like it is when a guy loves his girl. Just listen to "And I Love Her" for proof. Those early love songs like "This Boy" are beautiful, charming and passionate examples of how men adore women. Ladies, listen to Paul sing "You don't know...what it means to hold you tight" in the vastly underrated "Hold Me Tight." That's how we feel when we love you, ladies. Katie, you have a fantastic Beatle vinyl collection! It would be interesting to hear you describe how YOU feel, when you listen to your favorite songs by The Beatles: That is Beatlemania. Thanks for the video, Katie!
You know, I’ve never thought of it that way! I remember watching interviews with them and the reporters always asked them why the girls loved them so much, but they didn’t know. I don’t think girls know why either, really. 😂 There’s just something cool about them! I should definitely do a video discussing my favorites, that would be fun! Thank you so much for watching! :-)
Wow! Supercool! You have some British and some American releases. You even have "The Beatles Tell All" - the last Vee Jay Records release. Hal Blaine plays the drums to add excitement. I've heard of the Baroque Beatle Book, but I've never actually heard it. Great collection! I guess I'm a little late getting here, but I'd love to see your Paul McCartney collection
Hi Katie, nice collection so far and I'm sure you'll be adding to it. It does take time and of course money. I've collected them(and solo) for years and my prize possession is a 2nd state butcher cover, stereo in ex-mt condition which I got for a $1 at a second hand store. Believe me, that doesn't happen every day ! Good luck collecting, and I'll be looking forward to your future videos.
Oh my goodness, that is some amazing luck! Now I’ll be secretly hoping to come across a deal like that! 😂 You’re right, that sort of thing doesn’t happen every day. I mean, finding the butcher cover is basically a collector’s dream, anyway, haha. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it! :-)
Nice collection! I started when I was around 11 and remember how excited I was every time I could get a new album. I bought a few (and won a couple from a radio station), but I also got some from our local library and recorded them onto cassette tape to save money. A few I had that I didn't see in the video are the Hey Jude album from 1970, the historic first live sessions with Ringo at the Star Club, and their songs with Tony Sheridan (including My Bonnie). Happy collecting!
Thank you so much! :-) Those are some extremely sweet memories! 😄 Like you, I love the excitement of getting a new album and enjoying looking through the cover art and having such great music literally in your hands. There’s very little that compares with it (except maybe getting a new book, haha). You’re exactly right, I need to find those albums! Thank you so much, my friend! 👍
Good collection young lady , I am almost 70 years old and came from N.Y. I love the Beatles and still listen to their music all the time. Still.. I had the good fortune to see all of them in concert at one time or another . THANK YOU FRANK FROM MONTANA......

Great too see a younger one into this. My Beatles journey began on February 9th, 1964 the night America was introduced to them on The Ed Sullivan show, I was six and blown away. They looked and sounded like Gods or aliens. You have to look at the music landscape in pop music before them which was not much. I got to see them live in Pittsburgh that September and it was crazy. There were 12,500 screaming fans there and from the count in on the first number you couldn't hear much of anything. Quite an experience for a seven year old and that evening is still seared into my brain. I had all of their singles and LP's through 1970. I started collecting their records in 1971, my freshman year in highschool. If you saw my collection your jaw would hit the floor. Your "Yesterday And Today" you said you didn't have the other cover. I have a 1st Stereo in perfect condition in its original shrink wrap. Well not like tight wrap but a loose plastic sleeve back then. Has original Sears price sticker on which was about 3.59. Sears pulled these off the shelves after one day because of outcry from the public so that Sears sticker variation is very sought after. I bought mine at a Pittsburgh collectable record shop for $2,000 in 1988. My father thought I was crazy and my friends said cool but a lot of money. Guess whose laughing now? I also have a 1st State Mono in NM that I got in the late seventies in Ohio for 500.00 at a used record shop. Also a Stereo and Mono 2nd State paste over trunk covers in NM condition. I actually found the Mono at a large Ohio flea market about 10 years ago for 25.00. Keep looking young lady, you never know. I have peeled Stereo and Mono copies also, only VG condition but for around 100 each they're fine for examples. Here's a tip when looking at original sixties Beatles LP's like with your "Meet The Beatles" check the catalog number on the spine. If Stereo look for ST-8-2047. These are Capitol Record Club issues with the -8. They are worth double of what a regular issue is worth. You can find these on the Capitol green label releases also from 1969-71. Check all originals for that -8, they pop up once in a while bit not often. Another fun thing that I enjoy more than albums are the 45 rpm's and the picture sleeves that cane with early pressings. I have every Capitol picture sleeves and multiples of many in NM condition. Also the two Beatles EP's, "Four By The Beatles" Capitol, 1964 and "4 By The Beatles" 1965. Both with cardboard picture sleeves. Pretty desirable pieces. "Souvenir Visit Of Their Visit To America" EP, Vee Jay label,1964 and great cover. I have every 45 on Capitol, VeeJay, Tollie, Swan, Decca and MGM. When Beatlemania exploded here in 64 it was like the 1849 Gold Rush in California. There were sleazy con men everywhere cashing in and a lot of it is very sought after. I also have all Capitol 45's on green radio DJ labels and very sought after. I'm pretty sure that you would enjoy seeing my collection. One can amass a lot over 53 years of collecting. Happy hunting and good luck young one. Peace❤
Wow, what an incredible story! You have certainly managed to find the prized pieces of Beatles collections, there is no doubt about that! Thank you so much for telling me of your collection and experiences, because it gives me the want to go out and search for some of the rarer vinyls, and I also always find it neat that every Beatles fan has his/her special story! Thanks, my friend! :-)
Nice collection! It's worth having both the UK and US canon albums due to their unique mixes. It's also worth having their mono counterparts for the same reason. The german pressing of Something New is also interesting because it has an extended version of And I Love Her, which is not available on any other album except the Rarities US version.
@@katiegl The US Rarities also has an interesting selection of mono tracks that sound a lot different compared to their stereo counterparts. I have a Specialty pressing of it as well as a japanese version and they both sound great.
Hi Katie. Excellent video - concise and to the point. Your production…going thru the vinyl chronologically, with just enough time between album views was, I thought, a good presentation. Not to mention how it took me back thru an adolescent tour of my life growing up with the Beatles. Among my hundred or so albums I’ve got maybe a dozen well-worn Beatles’ disks, purchased at the moment they dropped. As I age (71 now) I wonder where my “stuff” will go. I can’t think of a more deserving person for this huge poster to go to, if only the shipping charge wasn’t exorbitant. BTW. I enjoyed your “I’ve Just Seen a Face” rendition. 😊 John
Aww, you’re so kind, thank you! ❤️ People like you are the reason I’m loving making these videos, because reliving the days when you’re growing up with the Beatles (though it wasn’t all that long ago for me, it feels like a lifetime!) is very comforting, and I’m so glad to be able to maybe help people do that. Thank you so much, it truly means a lot! :-)
Katie you did very well - my first Beatles album I bought in 1981 was "Introducing the Beatles" on Vee Jay (I was just out of high school and my friends all thought the Beatles were old and not trendy but I knew better-they are and will always be the best ever). I bought the album at Sears in their record department and I thought I found a treasure but later I found out it was a bootleg--copy- not the original--why did Sears sell fake records?-- too bad as the original is worth some money--but I still have it to this day. Keep up the good youtube work!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! :-) Aw, no, a bootleg copy? “Introducing The Beatles” is a very difficult album to come across; it’s a pity Sears made it seem like they had it! Maybe one day you’ll find the original! 😄 Thanks for watching, my friend!
Katie, that was a wonderful video, very heart-warming. It is so nice to see young people as Beatle fans. I only wish you could have experienced Beatlemania - the Beatles breakout in America in 1964. You would have loved it!
Good to see young people enjoying this. I bought my first Beatles record at a Rexall drug store in 1964. It was a 45 rpm including "She Loves You" and "I'll Get You" on the flip side. I was 11 years old...hard to believe.
I’ve been collecting 180g Beatles LPs for the past few years - usually I get given them as Christmas presents. 2 to go! My absolute favourites are The White Album, Please Please Me (such a fabulous debut), Magical Mystery Tour (not strictly an LP, but the version I have is - and it includes All You Need Is Love, Baby You’re A Rich Man, Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane). I also have a mono pressing of Sgt Peppers - which is worth buying - it is quite a bit different to the stereo mix. But the LP I was most excited about was Beatles For Sale - I just love this album, warts and all! Happy collecting - it’s so nice to see someone else with a Beatles vinyl collection who is so enthusiastic about it! I can heartily recommend Past Masters Vol 1 & 2. Vol 2 especially - it has my 2 favourite Beatles tracks on it - Rain, and You Know My Name (Look Up The Number).
I gotta say, this is one *fab* collection. This was a really wholesome video, I love how enthusiastic you are about these records. :) As someone who just came home from Liverpool recently this has rounded up my Beatles themed trip nicely so thankyou! By the way I love your jumper!

Interesting pieces that you've got a good mix between the British and American catalogue. As a kid in the late 90’s I grew up with the CD and its digital pro and cons', so when i got into vinyl a couple of years ago, I was amazed - the first time I heard the analog sound of a vinyl copy of Beatles' album.
Thanks so much! :-) Yes, there’s something magical about the sound of vinyl, isn’t there? I think it’s the idea that you’re listening to the albums as they would have originally been listened to that’s cool, too! Of course CDs are great as well, it just depends on the mood I guess, haha. Hi Katie L, It's hard to tell but it sounds like some of your albums are still in PVC covers 😱and still have the shrink wrap on some, the shrink wrap needs to go. Do yourself and your collection a favour and go for Polyethylene outer covers along with some anti-static inner sleeves and your collection will be around for many many years to come without any drama's. I don't wish to see anyone's hard earned cash lost to poor storage conditions that can be avoided. Have a good one and happy collecting 😃. I hope I don't sound like your mother just a friendly bit of advice.😁 Some great albums by the way, some good scores.😄😄😄

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! :-) Wow, you’re in London? That is so cool!! Going to London is one of my dreams, really. 😄 I wish you lots of luck with starting your collection! And I am missing them, yeah. I haven’t been able to find them for some reason. Hopefully one day I will, though! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for your reply Katie. London is great - I’m just off to drive past Abbey Road and then go and see the rooftop of where they played their last gig on top of what was the Apple office. Going there makes songs like Get Back/Don’t Let Me Down, come alive. Enjoy your day 😊
If you’re ever or any of your listeners are in London, I definitely recommend those two places. Also, the British Museum library, which had couple of the original lyrics by The Beatles. It’s fascinating to see words/lines they crossed out on the original pieces and where the song could have gone
These are the same American LP's I had for decades. Hope you watch the Beatle movies. the fact that you mentioned the Butcher cover tells me you are certainly an expert [I'm 67, former music teacher]. This is the girl I should have married hahhahahhaha.
To complete your collection get LP "Beatles vs. The Four Seasons" and the Live At The Hollywood Bowl" that shows 2 tickets (green and red) from the concert on the cover (released by Captiol in the 80's) and "Beatles Christmas Album". Good job !!!
Great collection! If you want to go further down the rabbit hole of oldschool albums covering Beatles songs in weird and wild ways, check out Marty Gold's "Moog Plays The Beatles" (1970), a fun and spacey take on many Fab Four classics.
You need to get the folky US version of "Rubber Soul", ideally the unique late 60's rainbow "East Coast" Stereo pressing, which has a wee amount of added reverb on each track. These are identified as "New Improved Full Dimensional Stereo" on top of jacket in clear black and white. If "New Improved Full Dimensional Stereo" is on the actual photo in orange lettering, then you have the standard US non-reverbed Stereo press. However, if lettering is black and white on top and not a rainbow enclosed, in all likelihood, that to will be the standard non-reverbed US Stereo mix. You should also get the US "Hey Jude" LP which came out in 1970. This contains tracks spanning from 1964-1970 that had never been on a US Capitol Album. The very earliest pressings will say "The Beatles Again" on the record labels and not "Hey Jude." Finally, you should also get a Stereo non box set "White Album" which contains the authentic Stereo mix. Perhaps find a Mono press to, which has different sound effects on certain songs, "Don't Pass Me By" is faster speed, and "Helter Skelter" has no "I Got Blisters On My Fingers" outro. And finally, lastly, DO get a Mono SGT. Peppers, in particular "She's Leaving Home" is SO much nicer at the normal pitch; the more common Stereo mix of "She's Leaving Home" was intentionally slowed down in pitch.
There are zillions of 45's to get into,as well!!All the US ones have pic sleeves,as well!!The Parlis don't,just generic green sleeves ,with the dot "L" logo at the bottom. The 2 red labelers have either thin stripe,or mosaic/square designed sleeves. All should state "EMI Musical Industries" in a box at the sleeve bottom with the Hayes,Middlesex address included. The EMI gift tokens listings are part of the backsleeves as well.
You're welcome!!I'll have my video together as I get more lps and 45's from my North Jersey buddy Finish my US and UK collection out(again!!!)and some Odeon Japanese red vinyl originals back in my collection again, too.I have info on all that, too!!
All those 2009 re releases and stereo copy reissues are just brutal on the ears. Next up, get some original UK monos. I know it's expensive, but your mind will be blown. It'll be like listening for them for the very first time
Now I do agree with you there. I can’t say that they sound the best at all, haha. I should look into getting some UK monos-along with a new record player because the speakers on the one I have now are not so good. 😂 Thanks, my friend!
Hello Katie. How are you doing? I think that you should make more videos like this one and also more cover songs full length when you have the time, the places where you recorded 'Eleanor Rigby' and 'That's all right Mama' are good places to record songs. Have a great day!
Thanks so much, I’m doing alright! I hope you are, too! :-) Thanks for the advice, I’ve actually got a video ready to go about my Beatles magazine (modern and vintage) collection-do you think that’d be an okay video? 😄
You should keep an eye out for some German or Dutch pressings of Beatles' LPs from pre-1987. They really do sound much better than the overly bass heavy Giles Martin remasters and the clinical sound of the digitally sourced pressings from 1987 onwards. For really dynamic sounding discs you can't get much better than original 60s UK mono pressings. Unfortunately, a lot of early Beatles U.S. records were subject to the whims of Dave Dexter Jr. at Capitol records. He added an inordinate amount of reverb and compression to the recordings because he didn't think Americans would like the mixes that George Martin and the Beatles themselves had overseen in Abbey Road studios.
I have the Beatles 2nd album cover and actual album. I have all the same vynl ones except for the rarities ones. I do not have help soundtrack but I do have the studio album.
@@katiegl i also have MCartneys TUG of War. Do you have that one? I have a lot of McARTNEY CD s . Do you collect CD s too? I have the Butcher cover of Yesterday and Today on CD. You have a very fine collection of Beatles LPs, and it's fantastic that today, young people such as yourself are still getting into the Fab Four - I fell in love with their sound from hearing them on the radio constantly when I was a very young child back in the '60s, and have loved, and collected the records/CDs ever since!
I hope you continue to love them for the rest of your life too.... 😊
Very nice collection! I've been collecting for almost 50 years and I must say I still love the thrill of the hunt. My main goal now is to collect all of the UK first pressings. Good luck with your collecting.

Aw, thank you so much! :-) And what a sweet story! It’s awesome you were a fan from such an early age! 😊 Thanks for watching, my friend!
A great collection!
Thanks so much! :-)

Also the two Beatles EP's,
"Four By The Beatles" Capitol, 1964 and "4 By The Beatles" 1965.
Great collection! Congratulations and im a big Macca fan from Portugal i really love to see your McCartney collection, all the best!
Thanks so much, my friend! :-) My McCartney record collection is going to be my next video, so it’ll be up very soon! Thanks for watching!
Very nice collection Katie. Subscribed :)
Thanks so much! I really appreciate that! :-)
Nice collection! It's worth having both the UK and US canon albums due to their unique mixes. It's also worth having their mono counterparts for the same reason. The german pressing of Something New is also interesting because it has an extended version of And I Love Her, which is not available on any other album except the Rarities US version.
Thank you! :-) And thanks so much for the information! I’ll definitely keep it in mind! 👍😄

John
Aww, thank you! 😊 Yes, I wish I could have seen it, too! It would have been so amazing! I’ve dreamed (literally, haha) about witnessing it, though. 😂
Paul's still getting all the girls! hahaha
Great collection!
Haha, it’s a true point! 😂 And thank you so much, I really appreciate it! 😊
Awesome video! So cool you have all of the main ones!! Paul’s my favourite too :O
Aww, thank you so much! 😊 And it’s awesome Paul’s your favorite, too! He’s certainly a very talented guy! :-)
Good to see young people enjoying this. I bought my first Beatles record at a Rexall drug store in 1964. It was a 45 rpm including "She Loves You" and "I'll Get You" on the flip side. I was 11 years old...hard to believe.
Aw, what a great memory! It’s amazing to me how the Beatles reach so many generations of people. They’re definitely magic! 😄 Thanks for watching!
Sweet!! You’ve got some amazing albums! :-) I love that you like Rain-it’s one of my favorites, too! Thanks so much, my friend!
I gotta say, this is one *fab* collection. This was a really wholesome video, I love how enthusiastic you are about these records. :)
As someone who just came home from Liverpool recently this has rounded up my Beatles themed trip nicely so thankyou!
By the way I love your jumper!
Aww, thank you! That really means a lot to me! ❤️ Oh my goodness, going to Liverpool is such a dream of mine! I hope you had lots of fun! :-)
Katie, that is a wonderful video. It's so good to see a young person show so much reverence for the records. I hope that you continue. BRAVO!
Aw, thank you so much! I really appreciate that! :-) I definitely do hope to continue; the idea that I never know what's out there will ensure that I do, haha. Thanks for watching!
absolutely awesome! im glad theres other young people like me who still appreciate the Beatles music! I wish i had as many of their albums as you do!
Aww, thank you very much! I really appreciate that, and I’m glad you enjoyed it! :-)

Oh my, that’s amazing! Part of me wishes I could have seen them when they first made it! 😄 And I agree, Beatles 65 is a wonderful album! 👍 Thanks for watching!
Cool and unique collection! Nice seeing a mixture of US and UK albums.

What a great video, thanks
Thanks very much, my friend! 😊
Keep them safe… you will have them your whole life … I bought, and rebought on every format, and I keep coming back to the vinyl… as if all the other formats didn’t exist. I don’t know, there’s just something special about watching the label go round round and round….. look around!
I will certainly do so, thank you so much! I agree with you, there is something very special about vinyl. It’s magical to me that someone was smart enough to invent them, honestly. 😂 Thanks for watching!
If only I were 40 years younger! We like the same exact music! Amazing! I'm in my 60'S and still listen to them. My two favorite Mcartney albums are Red Rose Speedway and Venu and Mars. take care!
Ooh, I know it’s bad of me, but I haven’t listened to Red Rose Speedway yet! I have listened to Venus and Mars, though, and it’s so amazing! I love You Gave Me The Answer! 😄 Thanks!

Ya have a really nice collection, I have all the Beatles American and Euro album. Also have the blue box set which I never played. I'm 70 and even collecting since I was 8. I now have about 4,000 albums, 2,000 cds and a lot of 45's. I also have at the black album on vinyl and cd. And a lot of bootlegs. Thanks Jim
Thanks so much! :-) Whoa, you’ve got the gold mine! That’s incredible! 😄 I think it’s cool you started collecting so young, too! Thanks for watching! ✌️❤️
Thanks for watching!
Great video, I collect Beatles and any related vinyl myself. Would like to see a video of your Paul collection.

Thanks so much, my friend! :-) Yeah, the only singles I had of the Beatles were those last two, unfortunately. I’m going to show my McCartney singles in my next video, though. 😄
I got extremely lucky a few years ago; I got a UK mono first pressing of Sgt Peppers for about twenty eight australian dollars; then immediately after I found a UK mono first pressing of the Magical Mystery Tour double EP for about fifty australian. I doubt I could find them for such low prices nowadays; I keep trawling through record shows but I rarely or never see these particular pressings.
Whoa, that’s some great luck! I’ve never seen anything like that, my goodness! Hearing things like this makes me want to go look at records, haha. Thanks for watching, my friend! :-)

To complete your collection get LP "Beatles vs. The Four Seasons" and the Live At The Hollywood Bowl" that shows 2 tickets (green and red) from the concert on the cover (released by Captiol in the 80's) and "Beatles Christmas Album". Good job !!!
Ooh, thanks so much! I’ll have to try and get those! I really appreciate it, my friend! :-)
Have all of those from my mom's old collection. The albums are beat to hell, but the jackets are in VG shape, strangley enough.
That’s really cool! 😄
Great collection! If you want to go further down the rabbit hole of oldschool albums covering Beatles songs in weird and wild ways, check out Marty Gold's "Moog Plays The Beatles" (1970), a fun and spacey take on many Fab Four classics.
Thank you so much for the recommendation! I’ll definitely check it out! :-) And thanks for watching, my friend!
Wow, that is so much amazing information! Thank you very much; you’re super kind! 😃 You’ve given me a lot of records to hunt for!
Cool Meet The Beatles Album, very rare!
Oh wow, thank you! :-D

That’s really great advice, thank you! I’ll definitely have to keep an eye out for them! 😄
