Hi J, Sasha & Story. Maybe a content about prepping the food you eat coz I'm planning to go half vegan😂 seriously. I remember during the lockdown, I was interested in Puapua's veggie garden and I was sad when she left for UK. I was sort of looking forward to the growth of her garden. Learning to surf would also make good content. You can try a collab with the Happy Islanders (the family of actress Andi Eigenmann?).
My children grown up with the books & more books🥰they love reading books & that is best thing bcoz it is a good habit rather than to spent time in gadgets. Story is a smart girl. Stay blessed & safe from ireland.

Hello Eight Miles from home! You should try Don Macchiatos! The coffee shop you , mentioned. Their coffees are really cheap yet super delicious! That shop is always full like all of the time when on weekdays! The line is super long there! It just recently opened.
3:13 you're absolutely correct when you mentioned how that kids playground is probably the best around the Philippines. i hope that it was just a matter of timing why you didn't see any kids playing in it. because that would be a waste of taxpayers money (as i assume that was a project of the LGU there) and the space where it was built.

You have been staying in the Philippines for quite a long time now. Do you have plans or have tried to learn either the national language or the local dialect? I have not heard you speak any of it yet or did I just missed it in one of your vlogs? I mean, talking or conversing with the locals continuously. ☺

Your Daughter is so adorable. V she smart. No kids at the playground, maybe there in school? Or they out. I think they're out aren't they til June? Trying to remember. It's good your daughter reads and is not glued to the screen like most kids these days even Filipinos even thought their internet is not that great they find a way. I miss the Philippines. I think the covered playgrounds in Dapa was a Cash Cow..why the LGU not alllowed the local kids to play there?.Is that a Pay Playground?

Story is growing as an adorable girl. Just few more years and becomes a lovely lady❤
I was reading things like Nancy Drew, Goosebumps, and Bobbsey Twins stuff by the time I was only a little older than Story. As well as classics like Lewis Carroll, Rudyard Kipling, Mark Twain, Hans Christian Andersen, etc. But that was because I grew up pre-internet, and these were the only books available in the local university library. I didn't really truly understood a lot of the subtext of what I was reading (like in Twain, for example), but they still drew me in to other worlds. And by the time I was like 12 and commercial bookstores became more common, I was reading full on sci-fi, fantasy, and horror authors, like Stephen King, Carl Sagan, Greg Bear, C.S. Lewis, etc. Getting Story genuinely interested in books at this age is a very good thing.

Yes it’s a big place really, plenty of room for contrast and development if it’s done right
Once the cables for fiber optic internet are there, it's only really a matter of time before it covers the rest of the island. I bet in like a year or two the entire island will have fiber. It's just as fast or faster than Starlink, cheaper, and isn't affected by weather. Though it still has rare down times.

I still love seeing the daily life videos. I share them with my sister who will be experiencing the Philippines for the first time in July with my Filipino husband and I.
I have very fond memories of Siargao. Dapa was our port of entry coming fron Surigao Del Norte. we visted a lot of the places on the Island, from Cloud 9, Pacifico, San Isidro. Passed through Pilar on our way to Magpopongko. We exited the Island through Del Carmen and headed back to Surigao City.
I love Siargao! First and last visit was in 2015!

I know girls who can play team sports very well (Storys age), have dance lessons /ballet (and dance well), play musical instruments well and speak a 2nd language reasonably well. Story has quite alot of catching up to do already.......if she wants to compete with same age girls in the UK. Yes, Story is intelligent, but the gap will only get wider from here-on in.
