Wow Q, not sure what’s going on with your G4, but the demo units in the Atlanta area Best Buys are absolutely on fire. The colors are extremely vibrant and colorful; the total opposite of what you’re showing. That’s why I encourage everyone to go see for yourself. No joke. Not sure what settings the local Best Buys are using but I plan to find out. Incredible how much more colorful the same demos are compared to what your tv is showing. Maybe they have been pre-calibrated by LG. The ones I have seen are truly impressive. Not being a fanboy since I own a Samsung, a TCL, a Vizio and an LG. I have been on this forum excited to tell people the G4s I have seen were the bomb and wanting you to get your hands on one. Now yours is washed out looking like a tv from the 80s. WTH? Lol
He does it intentionally, mate. It's a smart business decision on his behalf as it will drive comments up and arguments in the comments using misleading information. Gets him views. Basically with a few tweaks out of the box from the basic informed human, it will look amazing. Chances are he blows the exposure out on the camera to look washed out. Very easy camera trick. Smart business decision, but poor form for clicks.

It’s a shame that LG still has not been able to fix the issue with Red! I remember how bad it looked before I had your settings on the C1 and we’re talking supposedly three years of advancement on the more higher end model. That’s honestly really disappointing to hear. Not that it will matter too much longer for me as I’m hopefully one to two months away from upgrading to my. S90D set up, but still.

If they use normal settings , it will Against their own Chanel . They will never be invited to “ LG SONY release , special event! Air flight ✈️ hotel 🏨 paid off , bring wife kid 👦🏼 for extra perks “
Was your C1 better out of the box, and do you still have it, as kind of an old reference standard, just like you kept, and maybe still have, your Q8 for so many years ?
I have one the color can be fix, but I have no reference because I have never had a QD OLED, so it’s my opinion. Would love to hear yours once you calibrate it.
i saw the other half vids or clips of this vid on sony TVs many times nd they look like sh!t here on this tv big gab big huge different between how I saw them on sony vs this tv
My lg c2 has bright vibrant and accurate colour!! Iv seen the G3 and G4 in store and no way does it look as washed out as this!!! Plus iv noticed qd oled has grey blacks when light shines on it!
Hi quantum I’ve watched a lot of your videos and always enjoyed them but I don’t know what g4 you have or have been looking at but the videos you are showing of it are not realistic , I have the 77inch and compared to the one your showing it’s night and day , people look to you for advice but your not giving them accurate advice unless they want a Samsung or a Sony won’t LG sponsor you or something?
Yeah the CX will look better than a out of box G4 if you use BT.2020 in SDR with secret service menu you type 1113111 fast hover the picture mode settings (HDR Effect) then you change the Colorimetry from Auto to BT.2020 after that you selected BT 2020 you click the return button After all that set color anywhere between 37-41 or to max of 43 depends on your preferences if you want the full settings join and become a member there will have access to the best settings for everything from SDR to HDR for LGCX :)

Well store demos are designed for wow factor. That's why you need to see real scenes and content on it.

Well it will get better with adjustments, just very frustrating that they don’t ship with one decent preset settings profile.
