I’m blown away with my Bravia 9 85in had bit play with setting and let tv run itself in for good few hours I hate say it but it’s better than my zd9 from ages ago , which my sister still has with no faults ❤
But is it better than oled?
@@denissssss8579 it’s not ment to beat oled it’s mini led but with the new processor and back light it’s pretty impressive, but no screen burn risk 👍 never owned although nearly got the master series 77 inch few years back …as said this Sony tv has stepped up over most mini led tv around at moment and the picture is bright and punchy colours very good also ..👍

@@denissssss8579 FOMO already compared the Bravia 9, G4, and S95D against his reference monitor. They each have different strengths but all great TVs.
How would you say the Bravia 9 is in a dark setting like a basement? Is the strength of it (brightness) kinda wasted since it would be in a light controlled environment? Would I be better off with the A95L or even the Bravia 8 for a dark environment? Thx and enjoy the tv!

Just got my S95D, the most colorful TV on the market.
It is brighter and better than my S90C in the dark or with a bunch of lights on. I love this set 😮

@@AexoeroV It's the most gorgeous OLED for gaming, easily. I tried several others and this was my selection.
Deep blacks, very bright, the widest color gamut and the brightest colors. The 3rd gen panel is special
@@ehenningsen bad contrast if you have lights in the room, washed out blacks, thay made a mistake with the matte panel, is usable just with lights off but in pitch black you wont have reflections any ways so why making a matte panel. I bet next year this panel is gone from their TVs.

Personally I’d pick the G4 as it JUST edged out the A95L. I also don’t like the fact that an eARK gets used on a power port. The G4 at least has enough ports in case I expand what I have. The remote is the only downside but Apple TV solves that.

I wish this was how you‘d see the TVs in stores. I hate the fact that they‘re sorted by brand, all in different sizes, all in vivid with the coolest color temp available and horribly overbrightened, and more often than not they‘re missing some important models entirely at least here in Germany. If I really want to compare two TVs with my own eyes I gotta order both and return one which is such a waste and would be easily avoidable…

I just noticed the 77" S90C and S95C are on a big sale as of today. Should I go with that for value or should I go with this years models (S90D, S95D, G4 or A95L)?? I have no way to see or compare in my town as my best buy is renovating. I will say I love my brightness and Clarity as I'm coming from a 75" Sony Z9F, but I want something that will WOW me. Just not sure if any of these will do that as far as brightness and 4K HDR impact as that is what I watch mostly. Or is the Sony 85" Bravia 9 the way to go, but again, will it WOW me??
Bravia 9 is the way to go. It will probably be a huge upgrade in brightness power, and contrast. The OLEDs will also be a huge upgrade in contrast, but i don’t see a lot of value now that LCD has competitive contrast when you’re actually watching content and not just test patterns.
@@franciscofreeland-gonzalez1991 Is the Bravia 9 going to WOW me though coming from the Z9F which is very bright and the clarity is really good.
