For most of this journey - while AWD is a plus - but GTDI power is better to have: yung cold weather, high altitude and steep roads - dito maganda ang drive ko on the Territory. Besang Pass was a breeze. Great video!
sobrang advantageous talaga ng subarus pag off the city na, iba yung hatak ng awd pati handling niya especially sa mga biglang twists and turns sa mga road!
Awesome vlog sir! Also enjoyed seeing the three types of vehicles being put to the test, with each having pros and cons. More power and hope to see more content like this!
In inclement weather conditions, particularly on mountainous roads, all-wheel drive (AWD) vehicles offer a distinct advantage in terms of traction and control.
PALAISIPAN: 1) Territory was in Normal mode at the expressway and Mountain mode in Malico, Banaue and, Sagada. What if it was in ECO mode the whole time? Mas matipid pa lalo? 2) Why was the fuel consumption of the Subaru XV almost the same with the Altis when the XV is AWD and heavier by about 500lbs? Idagdag mo pa yung mabigat na All Terrain tires. Hindi ko pa maisip kung bakit. 3) Sino sa inyo ang hindi pa nakakapunta ng Banaue? Mahirap puntahan? Kulang sa attractions and activities? May dapat bang gawin ang Dept of Tourism to attract more tourists?
For #2. The AWD function of the XV would require less gas input from the pedal when dealing with high incline roads compared to the Altis. The Altis most likely had to rev higher to traverse the said terrain which uses more fuel.
Sir, I drove the Territory on Eco mode up down and around this region and returned around 13L per KM all in. Sa totoo po, I couldn't notice a performance difference between the modes, just the pickup-power agressiveness: so I always use Eco.
@@JunLeido Yes, I also think the Territory can do better pa from what we tested, Sir Julbie, the owner of the Territory, is used to his Pro4X truck na very responsive at low rpm which is an inherent character of turbo diesel engines, kaya ayaw nya ng eco mode, gas money is not an issue to him hehe, so anyway, I think kapag eco mode talaga mas titipid pa. Kahit mag match lang yung consumption ng Territory with the XV and Altis, malaking bagay an, lalo na if you said it gave you 13kpl. A big, spacious, full tech car .. sulit na sulit. Thanks for sharing your experience. Really appreciate it.
