- So lately I have been overwhelmed with people asking how to remove the front wheel of the shark robot vacuum cleaners. Some of them have broken the wheels before even watching any videos. I have made this video to help everyone understand what the difference in removing the wheels looks like depending on what mode you have. This process can take as little as 1 minute or as long as a hour depending on the mode you have. I also go over when you need to remove it and when you do not. With so many different modesl from IQ , Ion series 700 , 800 , 1000 there are different ways.

Thank you, after watching your video I was able to clean my wheel and everything works happily now!
Thank you for your exactness on this video 👍 so easy, and much better than the Shark manual.
Feel your pain.... Thanks for all your help on these robots and hope things settle down a bit for you. Totally agree with you that eBay fees have gotten out of control!!
Finally someone that can understand. Thank you for watching
Thanks for the help!
Thanks! That was the exact info I was looking for!
Glad I could help!
just discovered this guy, I like him he's cool. I'm just tearing apart my shark IQ to see whats inside
Thanks
Hello I have a Shark RV912S. The front wheel and the swivel with post came out. It falls out easily. To be clear, it is the wheel, the external black plastic snap assembly and the metal post. The post has a groove on the very bottom of the shaft. I can see the white plastic receptacle inside the robot. From your video, it is the type without the screws so it has the clip (or the screws inside).
What I want to know is...if I go inside and behind the motherboard etc, will I get the white plastic out and be able to snap the metal shaft back into the white plastic housing. It looks like there may be a snap ring for the bottom of the saft that holds it in the white plastic housing but it can swivel around. Did the shaft somehow slip off the snap ring and the ring is now stuck in the white plastic housing?
If I need to go behind the motherboard to get to it, is it better to replace the whole assembly? If so, where can I get it? This model is not common on the internet. Maybe there is an equivalent model number?
I'm standing by and hoping to hear back. Thank you.
I have the Shark IQ XL R105AE, the Dock light is blinking blue, the clean light is blinking red and the exclamation light is blinking red, (I think its error 21? I've tried restarting it multiple times but am unsure what's wrong with it
I have the AV2501AE, the one that has to be taken all the way apart to change that white wheel clip. Are you able to tell me what that part number is or where I can find the right one? I'm worried I'm going to buy the one that has the screws on top by accident. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the video, it was very helpful, too bad I didn't watch before I accidentally broke mine trying to clean dog poop out of it 🤦♀️
my robot was hesitating and flopping as it moved. I found that my caster wheel is touching the chassis. I'm thinking the only way this could be happening is if the white plastic piece that the caster stem clicks into is worn or the black piece that the wheel snaps into is worn and there's too much slop in the caster stem or wheel shaft?? I ordered a new wheel but I believe I'm going to need the whole caster assembly or at least the black stem assy. and unfortunately I have an AV752 model that looks like complete tear down to access the screws. Anyone else have this issue?
I need the front wheel assembly for the Shark 1000. The one you show in your video that should not be removed has fallen out and will not stay in. Will I be able to replace that myself
I don’t have any in stock right now the robot has to be completely taken apart in order to get the two screws out to drop it out
How do I contact for parts?
My AV2510AOUS is riding low in the nose and will not contact charger tabs because rear is high. Nose wheel spinning freely. Can assembly collapse? Or can wheel wear out and lose diameter?
They can wear out but its rare unless used on concrete. The back springs might have stuff stuck in them remove and clean.
@@SmittysWorld Spot on, sir. A dryer sheet had gotten into one of the wheel assemblies and would not allow it to compress all the way, thus lifting the rear. Thanks so much for your help
Hoping you have advice for me. My Shark IQ Navigation says my front wheel is stuck. It works smooth. Popped the front wheel out. Nothing in there. Wiped it down. Still won’t work. Think it’s the sensor?
Pulled out the roller brush and there was a horrific amount of hair there you can’t see without taking the roller out. It appears to be working right now again. Guessing/hoping I was getting the wrong error message.
@@pereme1 Is it working? My caster wheel is loose somehow allowing the wheel to touch the chassis as it rotates. Never got an error but robot motion is very jerky and floppy.
@@revlimit1764 yes it worked.
My caster wheel was worn and rubbi g the chassis. New caster and running fine.
Do you have any videos on how to take apart a RV2001WRUS?
No but it’s very similar to be honest
@@SmittysWorld The pin broke where the fluid reservoir latches into the back of the robot and wondering if that piece can be replaced.
Any videos on how to make apart the 2 in 1 vacmops?
On a 1000 unit how much is the side brush motor
They are sold as a pair for $35 plus shipping. That’s if I have any left in stock
I did exactly what you said not to, I forced it out, and now it won't stay in. Do you have a part for this? Thanks.
How can I contact you? Need parts to fix my RV700_NC
I no longer sell parts
