Hill runs during the off season is a sensible approach. Be mindful of the reps, sets and duration of this as if you do to many, you'll overtain however if you under do this phase you won't achieve the adaptation required.
Speaking of counting, how does distance of strides work out of the blocks? Did you have a certain measurement for your acceleration and drive phase that you worked out to get your strong starts so effective and accurate?
Don't wait until you race to try this. I would suggest you reherse this whilst you jogg. Once that becomes natural, you'll progress to counting whilst jogging and during your strides. From there you'll progress to jogging , strides and accelerations
Very interesting. Can you do a video going into more detail as to how you start applying counting in your training sessions?
I'll get this done in a day or so
Thank you for sharing this great personal experience sir! Not everyone use to share this type of great knowledge! Lots of love from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳❤️❤️

Good vid Dwian, I'm intrigued to find out more about the counting method. Please do a vid with more info 🙏

@@DwainChambers So its all about making it a habit to count while jogging and then it carries over onto faster sprints?
