Just a brief word to you both: despite your criminally low subscriber count, I want you to know how much I appreciate the work you put into all your videos. Just wonderful. I hope you're proud of what you've made. Greetings from Australia.

Thanks. Glad you like the film. We're good with the low subscriber number. A social media celebrity is not on my list of things to become. 'Anonimissness' (I can neither say or spell the word) is a wonderful thing.

Absolutely agree, I don't know how RUclips is supposed to work but the fact that this channel hasn't got many many more subscribers means something just isn't right with what RUclips does.

Superb production (as always) - echoing other comments; it's criminal that you guys aren't a standard fixture on a Discovery-type channel with these sort of documentaries. Classy production and excellent commentary 👍

An absolutely superb video! Thanks, Summer and Gav! 👍👍 Opening the day with the "alarm clock" call of the Canada goose was pure genius. If Walt Disney was still alive and making his short "True Life Adventure" films, he'd be insanely jealous of this short film!

Greetings Geoff. Summers family owns a small 'ranch' which yields a lot of good wildlife shots. up further into the hills filming occurs on public lands or areas I have permission to go. That comes with risks and I've stopped that due to thieves of the human variety.

Brilliant work. I’m sure it took a shit tonne of work capturing all the imagery, and even more work editing the production. Of particular note, your opening few minutes were fantastic. Great sound editing too, across the board. As a fellow content creator, I know you have particular pieces that you are proud of, this I am sure is one of yours as it should be. Well done from Jafffa Adventures ❤️👍😎

Greetings Jaffa. Glad you like the film. The trail cam videos are a lot of fun all the way from setting up cameras to putting the story and films together. Being locally filmed opens up extra story telling possibilities, as you'd know with adventure films you 'get what you can get' and make the best of it, where these types of films if you need a specific shot to make the story work it's a matter of walking out the back door and getting it.

    💎 Hidden Gem Alert! 💎
I stumbled upon your channel and I am genuinely stunned at the low subscriber count given the unparalleled quality of your nature videos. Each frame is a testimony to the incredible beauty that our planet harbors, captured with a clarity that is nothing short of a visual feast.
It is an absolute crime that RUclips's algorithm hasn't caught up to the marvel that is your channel. Channels like yours are the beating heart of this platform, offering viewers a serene escape into the untouched corners of our world, away from the chaos of daily life.
I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate the effort, passion, and skill that clearly goes into each video. You are crafting not just content, but experiences that transport us straight into the heart of nature, offering a perspective that is both intimate and grandiose.
Let's all do our part in sharing this channel far and wide. Content of this caliber deserves to be witnessed by millions, not just thousands. Keep up the astonishing work, and here's to hoping that RUclips wakes up to the treasure trove that is your channel!

Awesome awedio, veritably fastidious videographic wonderments. Guys, the audio is exquisite, as also the trail cam capturings.
I'd forgotten about the cattus maximus (apologies to "Strait-Tail"? ). So who is Krikkit's* friend?.
And how are you two too?
eggsplan nation; "Krikkit's"* is my dumm attempt at outlandish poetic lysense (when it comes to miss spollengings).
Oh and the editing is superb. Over what length of time (of the year) are these from, and how far from where you live??.
    Looks absolutely gorgeous.
Am interested in what the actual gear is that you utilised for all of this fine work.
As always, very excellently done throughout (planning/on site/editing).
Am looking forward to the Foreman Build's next espisoda. ~ ~

Greetings Noel. Straight tail is a semi feral who lives outside whilst her sister Kinky tail lives with us. She was also a semi feral who chose the good life and has a double 90 degree nock in the tail where it got slammed by a door, hence the name. I mainly use Browning cameras HP 4 and HP5, with a preference for the no glow variety which result in more natural behavior of the subject. The no glow do produce a 'muddier' image compared to ominous red glowing infa variety but they often spook the subject.
Trail cam audio is terrible and only the most essential parts ever make it into a film. I use a Rode NT4 stereo mic for 'on location' high quality recordings used for back ground and ambience. Animal noises are all faked, a local horse provides snorts and breath noises for deer and bears, Krikkit helps with grass rustles, dead deer leg whacked on the ground for deer hoof noises and mostly me making bush noises in various locations does the rest.

@@ForemanAndWilmsAdventures Summer I have this repeating image of you rolling your eyes, as you wade into "TEP" {The Editing Process}, armed? with the sadly unforgetable experiences of dead~hoof whackings, snorts/russels (rustles) burd cawls and other interesting acoutrements~to~the~visuals**.
** especially "additional items added for flavoring". 🦘🐨🕊🐱
Oh and thanks Gavin for the interesting insight into your felinious friends.
PS will check out your gear inawhile, and thanks for the info. I can be at times inquisiytiff. :)

Many Thanks. All the shots are from around where we are living and much of it is just outside the house. Likewise the high quality audio recordings we use are made where the creatures are filmed so they may not be seasonally accurate they are by location.

Another wonderful video, totally entertaining, informative a true work of art. your video work, sound and editing are amazing. I check your channel frequently to see if you have posted any recently, so glad that you did. Cricket sees to be alive and well. Question, was all of your video shot on a trail cam? The clarity, sharpness was amazing. What train cam or cameras did you use ? Thank you and happy trails!!

Greetings John. Glad you liked the film. The opening scenes and some of the closing scenes were shot with a DSLR and inside the old barn, the vast majority of the film using trail cameras. Although there have been a few different models the ones I like the best are the Browning recon force elite and Special Ops elite HP4 and 5. The former has crisper night images but it's red Infa glow tends to spook the animals whilst the latter has slightly 'muddier' results but the 'no glow' records more natural behavior. Very little audio is retained due to poor quality and is replaced with high quality 'on location' audio recordings using a Rode NT4 microphone. Recordings may not be seasonally accurate but are by location and time of day. Animal noises are recreations of me rustling about in the bush with the help of Krikkit and the neighbors horse, who assisted with sniffs and snorts.
