I often think your efforts deserve better than RUclips, but maybe at least on RUclips the people that most enjoy your filming style end up finding your niche product. Good filming, quality vision, good editing, nice narration.
Thanks Mark. RUclips is a handy platform for displaying films for anyone who wants to watch them. We tried Vimeo and had no success at all. I think our films only resonate with a very small audience which is fine by us.
Amazing what an effort went into editing. When I was a kid a tv program called Wild Kingdom always got my attention. Yours also got my attention and admiration. Your four legged friend is a joy, thanks be safe be well.
Well done I was amazed at the amount of animals you found, glad we don’t have those stinky little buggers here. I can tolerate spiders and stuff but something that squirts at you would be the worst. Thanks again for the entertaining video.
Hi Summer, At around 9:34 I thought I heard Gavin making some strange sounds; like a cow?. Oh ok. I was wrong. It's Really the cows talking, it's just that Mr Foreman has tought them how to 'cow' talk, eh? :) Yeti another excellent (can you do Anything non~excellent at all! ?? ) informative well researched and documented foray into the underworld of Darknessies. A busy place indeed. Exciting to have all these critters close at hand (ok close at foot). Love your work guys. Happy almost-still brand new 2023.
Greetings Noel. You'll be surprised how much I contributed to the audio. No cow noises from me but the sounds of animals rustling in the bush or through sticky mud was my fingers, hands or in the case of bears, me shuffling about on all fours. Trail Cam audio is horrid so the sound track for the whole film needed to be fabricated. Of course Krikkit did her own voice overs and the neighbors horse provided some sniffing and grass chewing noises.
@@ForemanAndWilmsAdventures How on earth am I supposed to get my rampant imaginings to stop messing with my head!, now's that The Master Fabricator has been let loose in my head?. Crikey!, from beary good shufflings to miniscule mouse skitterings, Real snufflings and a veritable stable full of sound producing accoutrements, one wonders at the next incredible Wonderment appearing on yon horizon!. Sigh. Astounding, you are. (all three of you).
Greetings Michael, all up it would be close to 3 years of filming. A lot of it is around where we live so we get to know our neighbors and capture them from multiple angles over weeks, months and years. The next trail cam video will be 'The Break of Day' though I haven't started the editing process yet.
Incredible stuff. I will have to get the trail cam out of mothballs and actually do something with it. This is great inspiration. That must have taken ages to put together, well done! I think some trail cams must put out a noise of some sort because when we tried it on our rabbit he started thumping in alarm. Our latest video cam has a 'colour night mode' on it which at first look seems good until something moves, then it loses all focus... oh well maybe they will sort it out be the time the next model gets released.
We've been setting out cameras now for about the last 3 years so that film displayed a small amount of what we have. We've been taking them on our canoe trips as well adding another element to the adventure films. I recommend the 'Browning Recon Force Elite HP5'. There are 2 versions, one being a 'no glow' type. The glow type shoot out an infa red light that looks like eerie red demon eyes, the night images are fantastic but it spooks the animals a bit thusly capturing un-natural behaviors. The 'no glow' versions have a protective shield that prevents this, the images are a little muddy but one gets a higher ratio of more natural behaviors. The animals sense of smell adds another tricky element and there seems no way to remove the stink of human from the camera and the buggers almost always know it's there.
Greetings Keith and Wi. All these creatures were filmed in the North bay area California within a 6 or 7 mile radius from where we live. Now I've got to know more about the creatures out there I've started hiking with bear spray, I've never used it but have had to have it on hand several times. Certainly adds a little extra excitement to a hike when a bear has to explain 'you better move on.'
An absolutely delightful video. Were he still alive, Walt Disney would no doubt be impressed, and perhaps even a little bit jealous.
A very enjoyable watch. Thank you. Perfect narration as well. Just enough and not over done.
excellent thanks for sharing very well narrated.

Great footage and commentary. I'm in Pope Valley too. I have some great footage from the cameras behind my house.
Great value. Great looks.
Brilliant, thank you!
David Attenborough would be proud of this. Your production values continue to amaze. How many month's footage is this?

Beautiful Guys! Wilms great narrating! Where was this filmed. The animals and terrain looks like the USA....
