Two things I can say that they did right in the 2nd game of the reignited trilogy is I'm glad Tom Kenny and Greg Berger reprised their roles as Spyro and Ripto and that my anime side was hyped when they casted Cassandra Lee Morris as Elora.
"GYAAAAAAH! Come back here, you useless animals!" "Hey, Shorty! Maybe I can help!" "WHAT?! YOU AGAIN?!" "Yep! If you wanna test that Power Crystal, why don't you try it on *me*? I'll stand still, I promise...!" "Hmm... I like that idea! Dragon, you've just - Sealed. Your. Fate!"
What I would have loved for the dynamic version of this theme is if it was based off of the PAL version regularly, and adds the opera singer from the NTSC version when either you or Ripto get three orbs.
Me: *Hears this music in the original version for the first time* This is epicness! Why is it so epic? *Plays at the Reignited Trilogy and arrives to Ripto's Arena* *Dies a lot of times in the first phase* HOLY S**T!! AND THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AN EASY GAME?! *Defeats Ripto* You know? I may have understood why Ripto is the absolute nemesis of Spyro...
I'd like it more if you could choose the PAL music instead. The PAL version had different music for different levels and didn't have the opera singing in the Ripto fight.
It's more apparent in Year of the Dragon, many of the levels have different music in the PAL version. The terrible remix of the Sheila's Alp theme in Lost Fleet was replaced by the bonus level music, as one example.
Well it just won't feel the same, as I played the PAL version as a kid. These alternative tracks just feel out of place to me and don't give me the sense of nostalgia that I'd hope for from a Spyro remaster. I feel as though some of the tracks in the ntsc version don't fit the levels as well as the PAL version, and it would've been nice to have an option to change it.
@DeltaGem Of course I'm biased. I grew up with the PAL version of Spyro, so I'm more inclined towards that version and the American version doesn't feel right to me. Some of the tracks in the American version are just flat out awful though. They should've added a choice either way.
1.- Ripto 2.- Sorceress 3.- Gnasty Gnorc Ripto's magic is much more potent than the Sorceress, he doesnt need dragons to fuel his magic like the Sorceress. Ripto's magic can whip up some insane stuff such as invunerability in the forms of Fire, Ice and elemental cards(ETD, Season of Flame, etc) so he could deflect Gnasty's stone spell as well as interacting with things like orbs and using his magic to transform them into metal beasts Gnasty is the strongest physically but that falls short when Ripto uses his magic to upgrade himself(ETD) The Sorceress also has powerful magic so she would also have something against Gnasty's stone spell but as I said before, all she needs is to be teleported somewhere in where there isnt any dragons and poof, her magic is gone. Even with Magic, she pales in comparison to Ripto In conclusion, Ripto despite having a laughable appearance, is a force to be reckoned with
After carefully listening to this and the original a few times, I will say that this version is good. My only real gripe is the fact those signature "Copeland" drums aren't part of the reignited ost. That was of the big instruments that I remember from the original version of this song. However, one part I really like in the reignited version is starting at 0:34 onward, I love the way the instruments work here. Especially that acoustic guitar.
Issues I have with this remix. 1st second of the intro and vocal is missing. Missing opera(0:15-0:20) Secondary operatic and echo wasn't implemented. Guitar instrument was missing as well. The missing operatic messed the flow up and what really killed the remix. I take nothing away from it. I love the bass and the one new counterpart that makes up for it.
There are missing instruments in a large amount of the soundtrack so far. It kinda let's you see that they didn't really care about the quality of the game, just the money.
@DeltaGem I don't know who's stupid enough to say that they 'don't care about the quality of the game' when they redesigned and remodeled everything from scratch and making everything better. And I don't know how can you say the quality of the OST is 'awful'. Heck, you can switch it to the original OST if you want to.
@@vgman94 I still remember that series, because why wouldn't I remember Aya Brea from the first time I saw her when she was in that little black dress of hers? @@superlombax1561 Same, and the pal version sounds boring and incomplete. Its just makes the fight boring.

A battle royale between the three villains of Spyro Gnasty Gnorc, Ripto and The Sorceress
1.- Ripto
