- Completely blown away by their sound. Every single person in that room is talented. I don't even understand how they all sound unique in their own ways. INSANE.
I hope you enjoy the video!
Be sure to check out their music here!

welcome to the lawrence train! you have GOT to check out more of their acoustic sessions (Don't Lose Sight, I'm Confident I'm Insecure, The Weather, and Freckles to name a few), they're actually insane. no idea how they didn't blow up years ago, this industry doesn't know the good shit when they hear it
I’ll have to check out more for sure! It’s always cool to see people be super passionate about new music I was just introduced to. 🤝 They for sure deserve more recognition!
Might be the best Lawrence reaction I've ever seen. Enjoy the music brother! Welcome to the club.
That’s a huge compliment, dude! Thank you! 🤝 Knowing people just enjoy watching along with me is cool because that’s just genuinely how I react to things. It’s not an act. 😂 Thanks for watching!
So fun to see people discovering Lawrence! I've been a fan for a few years - they are seriously underrated.. They won't be controlled by studios so they haven't made their big break, but word is getting out. Insanely talented singer/songwriters.
Agreed! I hope they keep growing in their careers. Would love to see it. 😄🤝
Listen bruh. I don't know why or how I ran into their videos but I thank God for it. From Clyde and Gracie all the way to Veronica, these singers are CRAZY. AND THE LIVE BAND TOO.....they be taking me to church and it's not even Sunday. I'm right there speechless with you
“Taking me to church and it’s not even Sunday” is so damn funny. 😂 Incredible statement. I’m not even close to religious and I feel the same way. LOL
@@nickruhle_ haha yea I was acting extra stupid when watching this at home. Great musicians ❤️❤️
They started off as a cover band and you can find a few live performances of some really solid covers too.
One of the more recent ones was recording of "live and let die" by Paul McCartney / wings.
That's a Clyde lead song. They really have that amazing dynamic being brother and sister.
All the band members are friends from elementary school all the way up through college.
Oh no shit! That’s cool as hell. That’s a ton of useful info. I’m a huge fan of people that stick together with their friends as success finds them. Mad respect. 🫡
Been a long time listener of Lawrence (and a bunch of the other artists in this video) and I’m glad to see them reaching new listeners. Really great to see you discovering and enjoying them!
Definitely a huge fan of their sound and the fun they have. 🤓 It’s dope that you’ve known them for a while. Hopefully they just continue growing.
Please react to any/all of their acoustic sets!!! They’re my one of my favorite modern bands and kill it every single time.
I’ll have to check out more of their stuff because people are really selling it in the comments. 😂 I love it.
The talent level is unreal. They have an a cappella version of another recent song, “I’m Confident That I’m Insecure” where they’re performing by the Eiffel Tower and singing their parts into Memo ON THEIR PHONES! And it sounds good!
They’re extraordinarily good live and pride themselves on not using backing tracks.
I love it. That’s so sick. 🤌🏻
the amount of talent in that room is insane. They look like they are having a blast and that is what music is all about I LOVE IT. As someone who is turning 23 in 2024 i will be blaring thins song.
I’d imagine doing something like that has gotta be some of the most fun you could have too. Jealous of them all. 😂 Glad you dig the song!
take me back to yesterday afternoon when I discovered this masterpiece-ish live...I have never gone so quickly from depression to euphoria
Seeing this live before ever hearing it must have been a WILD feeling. 🤌🏻
Clyde is the youngest member of the Songwriters Guild....6 y/o and the only artist asked to testify before Congress after the Taylor Swift/Ticketmaster fiasco. Mist of the early music is all Clyde. Probably Up and Don't Lose Sight (the latter in an acouticish version) are awesome
That’s actually INSANE. 🤯
I just found this band like 2 weeks ago they're incredible
They’re so damn talented 🤌🏻🤝
They are UNREALLLLLLLLLL!!!! Love them so much and absolutely want to see them blow up!! Please continue to react to them- they're amazing!!
The excitement is top tier. 🤌🏻 I hope they continue to grow as well!
"I'm 55 and they're my best Band" They should be!
As someone who saw them open for the Jonas brothers I can confirm she sounds like this live and she dances like crazy and still sounds this good. I was so shocked.
That makes me so happy to hear. It’s always nice finding artists that perform just as well out of studio.
I just gotnon the Lawrence train as well, and I'm just watching every reaction about. Yours is on the top ones. You got a new sub.
I've watched this performance hundreds of times at this point!! SOO GOOD!
Agreed! It’s 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
Probably THE most underrated band of all time!
awesome reaction! definitely do the dont lose sight acoustic by them next!!!
Glad you enjoyed the video! 😄🤝 I’ll be checking out more of their stuff later!
I hade the same exact reaction, dude. Now I'm obsessed.
I sing this song every couple days now. 😂
Check out all their Acoustic Live performances - they are simply amazing.
The vouching for them is nice to see! 🤝
Heck yeah! Welcome to the family business. :)
This just the beginning for this band. This band brings a higher standard most music today can't touch.
They’re stupidly talented. I’m excited to see them grow over time. 🤝
@@nickruhle_ I'd really recommend "I'm confident that I'm insecure" but they've got several more that are the bomb
They're an incredibly talented family. Their brother Linus obviously sings as well and their father Marc is a Hollywood screenwriter/filmmaker who co-wrote "Miss Congeniality," starring Sandra Bullock. Clyde actually wrote the "Miss United States" pageant song for the movie when he was five years old and Sandra Bullock's character "Gracie Hart/Gracie Lou Freebush" is named after Gracie.
The amount of people that watch these videos that come in with all this info/lore is so sick to me! 🤝 Really shows how much people love them.
Definitely love their acoustic-ish videos, but I also love their other songs. Casualty, Heartburn Song, & It's Not about You are my favorites!
I love seeing how much people enjoy their music. 🤝
They have mentioned one of the things they are passionate about is they don't use autotune or tracks. everything you hear must be live or caused by a direct ation of something being done live.
It’s such a nice change of pace. 🤌🏻
I hope they do get big
Ive been kistening to them since before the pandemic! Theyre freaking underrated! But then a part of me thinks it could be for the best 😂
Nah nah, gotta let people grow. 😂 I 100% understand wanting to keep people a “secret” so the industry doesn’t ruin them, but we gotta let people make that moneyyyyyy. 😂 We just always gotta hope people stick to their guns.
I’m still sad I didn’t get to see Gracie when I saw Lawrence open for the Jonas Brothers cause she was sick that night. But Clyde and the band still put on a great show! But they are one of my favorite bands! I’ll have to see a full blown Lawrence show soon!
That’s unfortunate, but all the more reason to just go see them again. 🤷🏻♂️ Glad it was a blast!
I saw them live in Syracuse last November, and believe you me, they are a force to be reckoned with. I honestly believe Gracie and Clyde are the best voices of our generation. They are gonna be trailblazers for the next few decades at least. Hopefully they'll reach the level of being a household name that everybody recognizes, they definitely aren't very far off from it.
This is one hell of a compliment. I’m sure they’d be flattered if they ever saw this. 🤝
Any of the Acousticish/Gospel peformances from Lawrence is absolutely amazing. Gracie has the voice that steals the show, but lowkey Clyde has one of my favorite singing voices of any male performer.
Also, not sure if you're familiar but you should check out Allen Stone. If you don't know who he is, he will blow you away, especially if you only know what he looks like and then hear him sing. Kind of incredible. Check out his live performance of Bob Marley's "Is This Love" live at Banaroo or check out "Unaware" live from his mother's living room.
I’ll have to check it out! 👀🤝
They are baaaalllinn
Agreed! 🤝
False Alarms live by them. You won’t be disappointed.
Noted. ✍️🫡
Lawrence is amazing
and I'm okay with that
Agreed. 🤝
8:58 You should definitely check out the band Melt. Veronica is the lead singer and she's great. The whole band is.
I’ll keep this in mind! 🤝
I saw them actually live and they sound the same if not better live
Same here. Saw them in Nashville and they were phenomenal. They also brought THE John Oates of Hall & Oates up to play and sing "Guy I Used to Be" and "You Make My Dreams." They put on a fantastic show.
Lawrence is opening for The Rolling Stones May 26,2024 at Met Life Stadium.
That’s WILD
Speechless is good. It's almost a crime to speak over that performance. Good luck getting that out your head. Thanks Nick. PS: some charcoal pills should help with all the farting. 💙
Gracie is amazing, what a talent...a real force of nature IMO
Agreed! 🤌🏻
Clyde and Gracie are INSANE
Agreed, dude! Stupidly talented. 🤌🏻
Gracie is so hot, it's insane. They are both such incredible musicians. I just found out that Clyde was a writer and producer on Tori Kelly's most recent album.
Ok Nick. You need context and backstory as you dive in with all of us...as all new Lawrence fans do...here you go:

I’ll have to check this out! 🤝
It'll make you appreciate even more moving forward.
You keep saying that everyones so talented but honestly, that's just Lawrence for ya! A band full of super talented people
People who got here before Lawrence
👇
This is the only appropriate reaction.
Gracie > Olivia Rodrigo
Agreed 🤌🏻
This is urban millenial music
you bros really don't like horns, huh?
